阿里斯托81號酒店 (Aristo Hotel 81)

Service was friendly, but the amenities were terrible. When I first entered the room, it smelled like cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant since smoking is not allowed. The toilet didn’t flush properly — even just one piece of tissue paper wouldn’t go down. The shower room door and handle were broken, and the main hotel door (the one with the key card lock) was also loose, which didn’t feel safe. Wi-Fi was very poor. If you’re looking for a budget hotel, maybe this place could still work, but for me, I would rather try another hotel next time. Maybe only the room I stayed in had these problems, I don’t know, but this was my experience. Overall, not a good stay, even though the reception staff were friendly.

I arrived at the hotel from Keningau to Kota Kinabalu around 11:30 PM while feeling unwell due to a severe allergy. The lobby is on the first floor, which was not mentioned clearly on 永安. This was quite inconvenient, especially in my condition. 永安 also did not state that a deposit was required. I assumed none was needed, but during check-in, the staff insisted on it. I explained that I was sick and only had QR payment, not cash. They showed no flexibility or understanding, even though it was almost midnight and no ATM would be accessible at that hour. Thankfully, another guest helped me by accepting a transfer and giving me cash. When we entered the room, the air conditioner remote provided didn’t work. My husband had to return to the lobby, and only then did a staff member accompany him to retrieve the correct remote from the laundry area. On top of that, the bedsheet cover had black stains on it, as if it had not been properly cleaned. Throughout the night, it was hard to sleep due to noisy guests, and the staff did nothing to control the situation or ensure a peaceful environment. Overall, the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to others, especially those looking for basic comfort and support.

Location wise is is quite accessible, many eateries also. Price is quite affordable and definitely will stay again there 👍🏻

Overall the 永安 is quite nice, only the fan can be squeaky, but air conditioning works fine, bathroom is okay, only the water heater knob can be sometimes not functioning. Parking space can be find easily

Just nice as what price are. Price talk everything i guess 😂.
