If you come in January or during the cold season, be prepared for an icebox of a room, a stubbornly clog-prone sink, and a bath that fills at a trickle.

Average rooms, bad service, average food. Over priced. Pick somewhere else.

If youve stayed at another Malmaison hotel then give this one a wide berth, its not up to the standards of any of the other hotels. Booked here with my brother to see him before Christmas. Handy location opposite station but very noisy with traffic at night. When we checked in, noticed the registration card said standard rooms when we had booked club. Reception confirmed they were club rooms. Rooms were very small and old. View spoiled by scaffolding all over the hotel. No club amenities in the room, reception said they'd get them put in. 5 hours later still waiting. Receptionist was so rude and dismissive. If I pay for a club room I expect a club room. She was adamant that we had been given club rooms. Asked to speak to duty manager but she told us she was too busy upstairs so didnt call her for us. The heating and air-conditioning also didnt work, which meant having to sleep with the window open as the room was very hot. Road was very noisy. Restaurant service was a bit slow but food was good. Breakfast was nice. On checking out, a different receptionist (who was really helpful called Lewis), confirmed that we had been given standard rooms instead of what we had booked. I can see why other receptionist wouldn't call duty manager since she had been lying to us. I will not stay here again or recommend this property to anyone. There are much nicer hotels with far better service in dundee. Total waste of money.

There was mould all over the bath and toilet

Overall it was great experience. I didntvl8ke the grey nets, and although the view was great, the frigate unicorn and tay bridge, right in front was kinda building site..but hey ho Dundee is a city after all. Laura and I were lovely welcomed by your bubbly curly haired receptionist. We ghatt3d to her mist and she is truly am asset to you. We had afternoon tea and cocktails 🍸 lovely. Next day your lovely 😍 receptionist kept our bags and laughed over how we shopped till we dropped. Great feature with key fobs...we use phrase at work constantly....I've got the key, I've got the secret. Would recommend malmasion anytime 😊

Worst room I’ve ever had staying in a Malmaison. The entire floor squeaked no matter where you stood

Very good hotel, the space design is very modern, the service is very attentive, there are shopping malls in the neighborhood, there are places to shop, there are also places of literature and art space
