南會安河畔酒店 (Nam Hoi An Riverside)

We booked this hotel last minute and mainly because of the breakfast, which was good. It was a buffet and a offered different foods every day. What we didn’t realize during our last minute booking was just how far this hotel is away from Hoi an. It takes a good 25 minutes to get to Hoi an by grab and is therefore quite expensive if you have suitcases etc. But fear not you can rent bicycles for free! …If they’re available which most of the time they were not. Aso the brakes on one of the bikes were broken. You could also rent a scooter for 200k a day which is definitely on the more expensive side for Hoi An but when we tried, there were once again no scooters available. So make sure to reserve one the day before, because it is really annoying when you are that far away from the city and have nothing to get to the other side of the river. The room we were given was clean and modern even had a washing mashine but very very limited options to hang up clothes to dry. There were no hangers at all and the kitchen cabinets were completely empty. Not a single fork nor anything else. But the room itself was really nice! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, working AC. Another thing to note is that the place is not just a normal hotel but a whole resort that is still currently being built and is a giant construction site. We were located in one of the only buildings that was already finished. The pool you see in the pictures is actually located in the middle of the roads connecting all the different buildings and the breakfast location. And currently there is no regulations on who gets to drive on these roads so when me and my girlfriend were in the pool one evening there was a creepy man driving in circles around the pool on his scooter and even took pictures of us in the pool until we yelled at him. It just felt really unsafe. Another thing that was a little inconvenient is that the staff despite being super nice and trying their best, barely spoke English. Usually that is not an issue for us but since the place was clearly catering to western guests it felt kinda odd. So in conclusion the breakfast is really good and the rooms are comfortable and spacious but the location was just too bad and not worth it. Maybe in a couple of years, when it‘s finished it will be a good hotel but we would not recommend booking it right now. Too many inconveniences.

this was a great stay I booked this hotel over three times. It is very clean,great breakfast room service is over the top. Everyone is nice and pleasant all the staff the best I've stayed in on my visit to Vietnam very beautiful.

Студия с отдельной кухней в трехэтажном таунхаусе, новый район, пока очень мало людей, по соседству делают ремонты. Большой бассейн на улице, рядом набережная и детская площадка, гулять одно удовольствие. Отель расположен за рекой от Хой Ан, магазинов и кафе в пешей доступности нет

We spent two nights here and I was pleasantly surprised by the service - the receptionists provided everything we needed very quickly and on request. When we first arrived, we were put on the first floor. I was tired and didn't realize I could ask for a room change. I was upset because the windows faced a gray wall and the advertised view of the river was almost nonexistent. But the next morning, when I approached the receptionist and asked to be moved, she gave us a room upstairs without any problems, and it had a very beautiful view. The shower had hot water and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The room was really large. We only had breakfast on the first day, and unfortunately, it was quite limited - we arrived at 9am, and fruit, juice, coffee, and most of the dishes were gone by then. Of the vegetarian options, I found some greens and two spoons of dry rice. But the quality of service was also high - when I asked for more yogurt, they gave it to us. We didn't have breakfast the next morning. If I understand correctly, that's The project, which will include several buildings, is currently under active construction, so there are few residents on the premises and it is a rather secluded place.
