翡翠鳥酒店 (The Halcyon)

非常垃圾 床鋪很臟 而且究極小 小屁孩都不夠住 洗浴也不方便 什麼都不方便 還沒有暖氣 這麼冷的地方沒有暖氣垃圾的不行 而且入住的時候還加錢 隔音巨差 全英最垃圾

窗外海景很不錯，就是沒有電梯需要爬樓，拖着箱子實在有點吃力。車子可以免費停在路邊，比較方便。

房間簡潔，清潔度一般，洗手間細，房間太熱

簡直不能再好了， 人員也很棒， 房間風景絕佳， 三面窗子都是大海， 晚上聽着海浪入睡， 早上聽海鳥的叫聲， 唯一一點是沒有電梯， 但是好在樓梯夠寬， 還是比較方便的。 出行公交也很近很方便， 離市中心走路15分鐘。

2個大人帶一個大孩子，2張大床。衞生間很大，還可以泡澡，水非常好，離各景點非常近。

Staff friendly and helpful,room clean and basic needs, definitely sea view and not too far from town centre brisk 10 minutes walk but out weights the problems of being in a central location,

Precioso amanecer desde la ventana con vistas a la playa. Son habitaciones con el baño incluido, todo impoluto y muy cuidado.El personal es muy agradable y las instalaciones están súper nuevas y muy cómodo. Hacen la limpieza cada dos días pero siempre te preguntan si necesitas cambiar las toallas o reponer el agua o el champu.La decoración es muy bonita y sencilla, con cuadros modernos y muebles nuevos. Las camas son muy cómodas.El desayuno está incluido con un lindo comedor con vistas al mar también y con un personal majísimo que está pendiente de que estés cómodo. Además del zumo, café y té, hay varias opciones para comer. Huevos cocidos, fruta, yogurt, avena o salado con tomate, jamón y queso. Hemos venido en invierno y ya se sentían las vibes de vacaciones en la playa, repetiremos sin duda cuando haya más calorcito. P

Fantastic stay! Highly recommend. My partner and I stayed for a night. Arrived rather late and the staff were still up waiting for us. Acknowledged us by name and showed us up to our sea-facing room. Clean, well furnished, minimalist modern and spacious feel. Woke up to a fantastic unblocked sea view in our large window. Breakfast was available to all in the kitchen/ pantry from 7.30-10 with a more than decadent spread of your staples, hot fresh brewed tea and coffee. Minor drawback was the slightly longer walking distance from the city (about 15mins), no toothbrush available, and had I not read up online ahead of time, I’d never be able to find the place as there is (as many others have also mentioned) no clear sign that says “The Halcyon”. So to anyone to follow in our steps, this is honestly a beautiful place to stay. Excellent value for money away from the noise of the town centre, wonderful hospitable staff for a lovely guest experience, delightful & scrumptious brekkie, cosy and clean modernistic rooms & gorgeous views to wake up to. No hassle checking in or out. Just be mindful to look out for the big words that says “HOTEL” and you’re very likely at the right spot. (Checkout photos 1&2) Walk in without fear and be greeted by warm smiles and a fantastic experience all around.

Great location, right by the beach. Could see the sunrise from our bed in through the window of the hotel room. Lee was very helpful and a very interesting guy to talk to. Would definitely come back here.
