Charming stay with lovely vintage vibes, very much in keeping with the local area. The location is excellent, and the diner next door is perfect for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, though some features are showing their age, our sink had cracks, and the bathroom suite felt very dated. Check-in was also very slow as the receptionist seemed unsure, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. We had also booked with the promise of a ‘Welcome Gift on arrival,’ but reception had no idea what this referred to, so nothing was provided. While it was a pleasant one-night stop, and we appreciated the character, I don’t think we’d choose to stay again.

Wonderful hotel! The utilities are spotless clean! Also, it's super close to the Smoketown airport. It's a great place to stay if you want to go planespotting. The Smoketown airport is tiny, and you can get within meters of the runway.
