Welcoming staff, but English was not very good. Beds were clean but the rest of the room wasn’t. Food down the walls and on the radiator. The sink was broken in the bathroom and the toilet seat was loose. No breakfast amenities despite there being a restaurant. If you’re after cheap digs and bring your own food, this is ok. If you’re expecting a travel lodge, book a travel lodge.

Arrived to finger no bar and no restaurant as the hotel is under renovation. On arrival at reception was a note asking you to phone a number to get some one to check you in. After a wzit someone arrived. Rooms not ready and supervisor chastising staff for not doing job correctly. 3 rooms offered. Each day I adhered to the towel change policy however they weren't changed and I had to go find staff to change them. Apparently their drier had broken down. The final room itself was adequate. Free parking and multiple charging points.

Stayed here many times over the last 3 months as always looked after so well by Enriketa the only mown is because it’s a bit off grid need to open restaurant asap

The hotel itself is very basic, didn't have our booking to begin with but staff work very hard to sort it. Bar eas closed, no restaurant due to rennovations. Small bathroom but comfortable bed.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gissons Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The ample on-site parking was a huge plus, making our arrival and daily outings completely hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-managed stay.

Really happy with the room and the member of staff who checked us in was really friendly and explained everything. It's a shame the bar and restaurant is not open I could see real potential there. Local restaurants nearby so not a problem
