奧尼赫酒店 (Onich Hotel & Lochside Beach Pods)

We arrived at the hotel following the recent storm where about 50 miles of the western highlands was without power so we selected the first available hotel and we were so pleased we did! Although rather lacking kerb appeal initially this hotel has an amazing location right on the loch-side commanding amazing views all across the loch and mountainsides!  We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our room which was a twin bedroom with en-suite facilities (small bathroom but had everything we needed! Beds were made up and very fresh linen and very comfortable. Given our 7 hour journey we decided to eat in the hotel - again what a lovely surprise - a very well appointed dining room and bar again with amazing views across the loch and the service and food was excellent quality! A good night sleep in our warm cosy room and again we decided to take breakfast at the hotel - surprisingly this was a separate dining area (wi5hout a bar servers) so felt perfect for breakfast, the buffet breakfast had everything we needed and the food was again very tasty and great quality. Having been cancelled by our original accommodation we were very lucky and pleased to have picked a great hotel for our overnight stay!

It is a lovely place with a paradisiacal vue. I could hear the waves from my window. This is something you have to do at least once in your life

The hotel is situated some 20 KM south of Forth William in a small village, located at the loch with views across the water. The rooms are large and comfortable and clean but not modern, the hotel has a restaurant and pub. I used a room in the main building there are also pods outside near the water. Was disappointed that the London like rate did not include breakfast, if you charge £285 per night in the country side I would expect breakfast. Lovely place, beautiful area.

The hotel is very old and slightly different from what the pictures suggest. The bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated, which was a redeeming point. However, the room itself felt very dated, with worn-out carpets and furnishings. There was no fridge or microwave provided, so if you’re planning to buy groceries, keep this in mind. We had to throw away our yoghurt as there was no place to store it, and it turned bad. There was also no air-conditioning. We had to open the window for ventilation, but unfortunately, we had to close it overnight because insects were flying in. Be aware that the hotel does not have a lift. If you have heavy luggage, it's best to leave them in the car and only bring up what you need. The staircase is narrow and curved, making it quite tricky to carry large suitcases upstairs. The breakfast room seemed to have been updated as well—it was bright and pleasant, though the food selection was small but acceptable. The hotel’s location is convenient for drivers, as it’s right by the road, making it easy to continue your journey the next day. However, do note that it’s quite a distance from any convenience stores or supermarkets.

Good location with free parking. The scenic view from the window is lovely, and it’s wonderful to take a short walk along the lake in the morning.

外部環境很好，但酒店內部房間裝修比較一般，國內旅館水平吧，早餐比較簡單，這個價格在威廉堡附近也就這水平了

Really great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.
