Beautiful concierge area like a library. The theme is intellectual world with their own playlist. Room size is ok for twin beds. Wish there were more tooth brushes in the room though the bath salts are good. Wish the room can improve on the scent. Overall, comfy beds.

The location is easily accessible, and the lobby looked like a museum. Parking us 1500 yen/ night. However, one of our rooms’ (twin bed room) shower curtain smelled like urine, and it was so bad that it affected the entire room. I had to keep the toilet room closed all the time.
The 3 people room was so great, spacious and bathroom/ toilet were separated.
The staff was friendly.

What a beautiful hotel! Right away the lobby blew us away, and the books on display can be rented by guests, which I thought was a nice touch.
The rooms are a bit tight, but that's Japan, isn't it? That said they were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind.
In terms of location, it's about a ten-minute walk from Hakata station, where you can catch the metro, regional trains, and the Shinkansen. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, and you're within walking distance from Old City and some of the major temples.
All in all, my family and I enjoyed our stay, and we would absolutely come back.
