The lodge was very clean and the help vey helpful. The river behind was pleasant and relaxing.

We had a few hiccups with our room. It was hard to work out. They didn’t have the workout room open.  Kids love the slide and the shuffleboard was fun. We also love how the river is on the back of the balconies..

Kids had a blast in the pool, room was big and nice. Stream was nice to sit and listen too.

Check-in was smooth. Room was spacious and was facing small river. 2 swimming pools one with slide one without were Ok. Breakfast is basic. Cleanness in rooms can be improved by changing the carpets. Parking area was good. Food options were limited aroubd the hotel but it is 15 min.nice walk to Gatlingburg city center, or there is free of charge trolley line in front of hotel in every 15 min.,to/from Aquarium in city center.

Everything was good except for parking, I had to park far away from my room while someone else parked right in front of the door.

The check-in process was quick and easy. The staff did let us know that black bears were in the area, and to take any food, drinks, or trash that we had into our room with us. The location is just outside the main part of the area and only takes a short 15-minute walk to reach the main street where everything was

Beautiful view of the river, clean room, friendly staff and so many nearby attractions, shopping and food. We got to see wild bears roaming around the hotel property from our balcony. It was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend and book here again! My fiance, kids and I enjoyed every moment here!

This was our fourth stay at Brookside Lodge and it will definitely be our last! Our previous stays were fine but this time it was disgraceful. The pillows were like lumpy stuffed bags of stale bread loaves, and impossible to sleep on. The requested replacement ones were just as bad, and we had to borrow two decent pillows from our friends who were camping nearby. Now for the sheets. They have certainly long passed their use-by dates. Flimsy, pilling and the elastic on the fitted sheet was totally destroyed. Consequently this bottom sheet migrated into the middle of the bed exposing the mattress protector which is what we found ourselves laying on come morning. One hates to think of the body fluids lurking in this. This bed over our 4 nights was just pulled up each morning by the service person without bothering to attend to the crumpled bottom sheet. As a result we had to make our bed ourselves each night. Next issue is that we were given two tiny bottles of shampoo to last two women over 4 nights. Now this is downright mean. The coffee machine was never cleaned during our stay either, although they did allow us replacement coffee sachets, so very obvious that we were using it. Lastly the overall state of the motel section of the establishment is dreadful, run down, seedy, extremely dark and should be bulldozed. So very disappointing. I would avoid Brookside Lodge at all costs.
