Ein schönes altes Pub mit historischen Übernachtungszimmern. Eigentlich sehr schön grün und am Fluss gelegen, aber leider ist die Autobahn sehr nah und deutlich zu hören. Insbesondere im Sommer, wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen will, ist das störend. Das Essen ist Pub ist toll, ebenso das Frühstück und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

All good apart from a couple of things: - I was unaware that the payment for the two rooms was taken 10 days before we checked in. ...(on the booking it said 'pay at hotel'). - the 'fixed price menu' offered on the dinner menu should state 'only available Monday toThursday'. - on looking back, my booking confirmation promised a complimentary bottle of Tilford ale. .no sign of that in our room.
