Disgusting Room, Bad Smell, Overpriced Everything – Avoid! This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room smelled strongly of damp, and the air conditioner barely worked, so it was hot and uncomfortable. The bed was stained with what looked like blood or feces – absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. The minibar is a total scam. They’ll overcharge you for basic items. A small bottle of water was supposedly 25,000 VND, cashews 45,000, and chips 65,000 — but I was charged over 200,000 VND. Those same snacks would cost no more than 35,000 in any local shop. I ended up paying 20,000 VND more for no reason. Don’t use anything in the room. The staff are rude, unhelpful, and the service is terrible. As for breakfast? Barely anything — just a few pieces of bread and some jam. I only went once during my whole stay, and that was enough. Not recommended at all. Stay away.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, left much to be desired. Despite being told that the rooms were newly renovated, the bathroom appeared unhygienic — there was visible mold and numerous signs of wear and tear. Additionally, we had to change rooms twice: once because we were assigned a room we had not booked, and a second time due to a lack of cleanliness.

Great experience. Painless, quick check-in & check out. Good size rooms (I stayed in 2 different rooms after extending my stay) with smart layout & space usage. Very clean with all necessary amenities. Good strong hot water flow. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location on West Lake with a variety of nearby cafes & restaurants. At the price charged this is a great bargain 👍. One slight quibble is the reception staff need to educate themselves about the TV stations offered to guests. I was told they only had Vietnamese channels but they have many English news, movie & lifestyle channels but the TV reception required setup to access these.
