In the heart of Harogate, everything on your doorstep. Rooms are outdated but very clean comfatible and quiet. Hotel staff very friendly. Would stop again.

Just a one night stay ,super friendly staff when booking in , we didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food  ,hotel nice and clean ,room very clean and comfy bed ,great to have hairdryer,iron , fan and extra heater

Impressive old building, great location, lovely breakfast. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom which was great but as we were at the rear it was a bit dark as we looked out onto walls and the paintwork being a little dreary didn’t help but the bed was very comfy! Would have appreciated a bottle or two of water in the room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean and had everything I needed. The bar area was lovely. I was up too early for breakfast so can't comment on that. I would stay again if in the area.

The room was looking very tired. The carpet was filthy when we arrived and definitely hadn’t been hovered, there was hair all over. Great location and staff were friendly, just tired rooms and lacked attention to detail.

I stayed here for two nights to attend a conference during May, It was a convenient 10 minutes walk to the Harrogate Convention Centre. The room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy during the hot weather but a stand-up fan was provided to enable us to sleep. English breakfast with few pastries and fruits was OK.

Great location, but not the most welcoming of staff, not one member of staff offered assistance to us with my wife on crutches. And when asked if they offer room service (which they don't) you'd think we were asking for the earth. Parking at the hotel was requested in advance and this was honoured.
