I really wish I could rate this higher bit I will be honest with my review. The location is excellent, the owner is kind and communicative, and the amenities including a washer, dryer, microwave, fridge, table and chair to work on, were really great The only thing I would comment on is the cleanliness and my war against the various bugs I encountered. KIA: 1 cockroach, 2 crickets, a bunch of ants, some other flies. RIP. The room itself is really clean, ignoring the comical hole in the floor beside the door (doesn't affect anything), but the toilet is in quite rough condition. I'm not sure if the sewage flowed back out, or a rat broke in and ate a cockroach, but I came back one day to sewage and cockroach wings all over the toilet floor. Kinda gross. Also, if you smell sewage in your room, it is coming from under the sink. Close the cabinet properly and it will help greatly. Overall a good stay regardless, the bedding is comfortable and amenities are great. I love the travellers' notebook and photo board too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can bear just a bit of dirtiness :)

The homestay has a very convenient location, right in the center, making it easy to get around to attractions and food places. The room is clean and comfortable. The host is super friendly and always ready to support whenever needed. Such a great experience, definitely come back and highly recommend it to others! Thank you so much

Overall it's a very good location but the room does need some ventilation to remove the mouldy smells.

The host is very friendly and prompt with replies. It's a very convenient location. You're basically sharing a room with the host family. However, the stench is horrible and unbearable. There is zero ventilation in that room. The bathroom is dirty and door is damaged. Got really sick after sleeping a night and decided to just forfeit the second night for another hotel.

Some cockroaches, mostly dead but some alive scurrying about. Room had a bad smell but was manageable. On the last morning we woke up to the sound of someone trying to enter our room at 6:30AM after talking on the phone super loud for half an hour with the host waking us. He was on the phone with the host who was giving him the code to OUR ROOM in which WE WERE CURRENTLY SLEEPING. ***. We didn’t open the door initially because we didn’t know what was happening, instead saying it was occupied. To which the ***** of a guest (who somehow thought he was gonna KICK US OUT of the room) then told our ***** of a host that it was occupied which they somehow could not comprehend. So then 15 minutes later the host came (two women) and tried to open the door to OUR ROOM in which WE WERE SLEEPING and I shouted that we were in the room, quickly put on clothes and opened the door to the shock of our host who somehow DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS OCCUPIED. Then the host asked to show our 永安 reservation which clearly showed we had booked the room and did not need to vacate until noon. The whole experience was very upsetting. However the host did let us check out late with no problem, so that’s a plus, I guess.

At first, I was a bit concerned because there weren’t many reviews yet. But my friend had stayed here for a week and highly recommended it, so I gave it a try. - The location is amazing - right in the center of Saigon. It’s super convenient to book a Grab and go around the city: Independence Palace, the water bus, Bùi Viện walking street, and many food places are just nearby. - The area feels safe. There’s a fingerprint lock, which makes self check-in, check-out easy and flexible. It’s close to Vincom Đồng Khởi, I went shopping a lot. Also, there’s a noodle place at the alley entrance that’s so good. - The room is tidy and clean, nothing fancy but it has everything you need, including a washing and drying machine, perfect if you plan to stay longer. - The host is super friendly and supportive. She recommended places to eat and hang out, and even helped me check in at midnight 😊 Bonus point: There’s a safe box in the room. I kept my important documents inside and felt very secure.

We had a really pleasant stay! The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing — right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to Ben Thanh Market, the walking street, and many local attractions. The area is lively with lots of restaurants, street food, and cultural experiences, yet the room was still quiet and comfortable at night. We especially appreciated the convenience of being able to explore everything on foot. Great value for the location. Highly recommend and could definitely stay here again!
