YHA昂坪戴維斯青年旅舍(大嶼山) (YHA Ngong Ping SG Davis Youth Hostel (Lantau Island))

網上圖片只供參考， 與實際環境有差落 旅舍設備齊全，煮食用具齊備 有燒烤設備及戶外環境 十分舒適 浴室及厠所整體清潔乾淨 反而房間欠缺整理有很多昆蟲屍體， 而且照明壞了未有維修， 最後管理員升級換了房間給我， 地面有很多頭髮吸塵埃， 還有一件小朋友襯衣，應該是上手留低， 最後自行打理及清潔一番， wifi 可能由於地區問題 接收未如理想 入住2人房間請慎重考慮 客人需要自己更換一次性床單被單枕頭套

在大嶼山昂坪，自然環境優越，蟲鳴鳥叫，遠眺鳳凰山。衞生做得還可以。廚房炊具還算齊全，有電磁爐，但微波爐烤箱壞了。沒有調料，幸好昂坪小賣鋪阿姨大方，解決了做飯問題。

來港參加寶蓮寺的讚頌追思法會，很驚喜意外訂到單人入住的名額，加微信後，通過微信溝通解決一些行李存放的問題，很好地得到解決存放的答案。 在此感謝工作人員的熱情接待幫忙，解決燃眉之急。 今次再次入住，發現翻新改善了廚房、廁所，宿舍的牆面，煥然一新的感覺。 旅舍的宗旨是環保低碳為大嶼山行山戶外服務的，飲食和日用品需要自備。不能等同酒店，不能相提並論，入住就要尊重法規規制，這樣才能自由自在，享受寧靜的山林氣息。

離昂坪巴士站步行十分鐘，旁邊就是鳳凰山。昂坪的餐廳和711六點就關門，按金衹能用信用卡付款。

不是第一次住這個hostel 總體來説如果你hiking或者要camping 都是不錯的選擇 就是我收工來東涌太晚了 所以有條小路進去特別害怕 有廢棄的房子 還有烏鴉🐦⬛和蝙蝠🦇叫 我都是跑的 哈哈哈哈 所以建議和朋友一起出行才好 下次還會來玩哦

We stayed in the tent for three nights. Upon arrival we had contact via a text message, since no one would be there to welcome us. We had to make the beds ourselves. We weren’t really sure if the bathroom was cleaned during our stay. The sinks were dirty and crusty. Some positive things: the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and everything you need to cook. The common room is basic, but nice. There’s a tv available. Outside, there are grills for BBQ and many seats. The location is nice and secluded, it’s also a perfect place if you’re hiking the Lantau Peak Trail. Good to note: the village and all stores close at around 5:30 pm. Make sure to buy your groceries beforehand or get something before it’s too late.

Tung Chung - 2 nights - private double room Expectation/Reality: this is the only provider of accommodation in the area so expectations need to be managed. They have the ability to essentially set terms, so the negative reviews here are likely from the folks who didn’t read the find print. The photos match the space very well. However the hostel reached out over what’s app a number of days before the booking asking for the $150 membership fee and $500 deposit, which I was not comfortable providing until arrival, however the hostel was okay with that. Security: very good, there is a gate lock and a lock to the door, very safe. Hygiene: overall very clean, no concerns. Hospitality: the check in and out process is all over what’s app, so you are at the mercy of how responsive they are which can be frustration when trying to get in. Once you are in, it’s fine. Social Atmosphere: good social spaces. Overall: given they essentially have a monopoly on accommodation in the area. It’s a pretty good spot. I accidentally broke the key and they came and fixed it the next day, but took off $50 from the deposit. So handle the keys gently. Over pretty good place.

We had an enjoyable stay. Great location for hiking and sightseeing, very peaceful setting, lovely views of Lantau Peak and close to the Big Buddha, the chairlift and good bus connections to all over Lantau Island. The buildings have seen better days, as you expect at a youth hostel, but the showers are hot and effective, the kitchen and BBQ facilities are good and the bed is comfortable. The manager is very personable and friendly and it was nice to meet his family. There are few shops to buy ordinary supplies in Ngong Ping, except a very basic 7/11, so you need to stock up before arriving or be prepared to eat at the expensive tourist outlets in the 'village' or at Po Lin monastery. Tourist facilities shut down by 5-6pm.
