愛丁堡機場Moxy酒店 (Moxy Edinburgh Airport)

酒店步行至機場就約八分鐘非常方便，從市區王子街乘100路公交就能到達酒店門口。酒店乾淨衞生，一樓大堂還有酒吧，氛圍感十足。酒店對面是家希爾頓歡朋，在英國約克住過歡朋，個人覺得歡朋在英國也是一塌糊塗的，沒有這家酒店好。如果去愛丁堡是家非常值得推薦的酒店。

I have stayed in Marriott properties in many countries since the early 1980s. This was my first stay at the Moxy brand of Marriott properties. When we arrived, the driveway was completely roped off and blocked by two huge construction vehicles and the door into the lobby was also roped off. No alternative was provided to allow us to drop off our heavy bags or even to enter the hotel from the car park. Having to register my car or risk a £100 fine just to drop off the luggage was not a customer-friendly message. I am aware this applies to other Marriott airport properties in Scotland to deter non-guests from parking. But I am sure with all the brainpower in the Marriott group, a customer-friendly solution can be found. The towel in my room had holes. Housekeeping staff opened my room door twice. Luckily I was only half naked. Really lousy breakfast. Dried scrambled eggs. No other egg type offered. Dried bacon. Orange juice tasted quite bad. The lobby doubled up as the place for breakfast. As a result, food droppings on the floor were quite unsightly. But I must say the staff were all wonderfully nice, polite and helpful

We stayed overnight to catch an early flight. Got a chance to have food and drinks the night before. Food was nice, had two burgers, didn’t taste frozen as in some other hotels. Did ask about having mayonnaise with my meal which i was told there’s some at the sauce station, once my meal came out turned out they didn’t have mayonnaise, so they have given me vegan mayo, which actually tasted alright. Ordered a margarita to drink and after 3-4 mins was told they didn’t have one of the ingredients, so had to come up with a solution myself, as I work in a bar it was easy, but thought that it would have been though of by the staff. Bartenders and waiters were super lovely. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. Nearly 10 minute walk to the airport which is great.

A little bit chaotic upon arrival (after easily parking our rental car it must be said) this due to some sort of issues that both parties ahead of us in the queue were experiencing with their reservations. The room was good, a long way from the lift vestibule which is how we like it and adjacent to a fire escape, again, how we like it. We went down to get an early evening meal and found this to be the only real negative of the hotel offering. If you like Mac cheese, burgers, pulled beef and pizza you'll be fine but just 10 hours prior to long heal flights, the choices just don't seem very appropriate. A range of pasta dishes, a salad selection or even a range of 'light bites' would be preferable. We walked along to the Sainsbury's at the airport and bought our supper from there, all in for 16 quid - what's not to like? The room was comfortable, easily temperature controlled on a warm and balmy night and has a decent smart TV, good bed and bedding and a small but very usable shower room with wc. Bar the food offering, this Moxy is a winner.

Worst check-in experience ever. Tried to check in for a pre-paid reservation. Agent ignored the virtual credit card ok file from 永安 and tried to charge me again. This started a 30mins wait and back and forth until 永安 called the hotel and sorted it out. Whilst i was trying to check in, another guest, who has status with Marriott complained about the service, kitchen, and food. The agent looked up his reservation made a note. Annoyed guest left, and the agent made negative comments about guests whilst i was standing there. Not worththe money, only good thing 5mins walk to the airport

5 minutes walk from airport with clean comfortable rooms. Showers had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided which was really useful for the quick overnight with hand luggage journey we took. Reception area has a chill bar area with couches a pool table and table football so a nice place to eat/relax before flying. Room was quiet and well soundproofed despite being next to airport and road. Great views from fourth floor of planes coming in and out The staff were uniformly kind and helpful. Be aware that they do not accept cash Would definitely come back

Nice hotel very near to airport, recommend for anyone who has early flight. Complimentary cocktails at the bar. We’ve enjoyed the stay. Only con is no mini bar in room.

lovely fashionable hotel, lovely room and bed, tea/coffee 5minute walk to the airport Got 2 free cocktails in the bar, Only thing was the air con was set to 19oC so made the room too warm. Would highly recommend.

離機場非常近，門口就有機場大巴站，去市區很方便。入住退房很快，早餐還可以。會推薦給想來愛丁堡的朋友同學。
