Hotel situated at the JB city with very strategic location. Staff very polite and always attend to customer needs. Room is very clean.

Hotel is a short drive away from woodlands customs & all the popular shopping malls. Would recommend the swimming pool view for a more green scenery

We were warmly greeted with their signature chocolate chip cookies, a small but thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for a memorable stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the front desk staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail stood out throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed, offering a beautiful view of the Johor Bahru skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the modern amenities provided, from the well-equipped workspace to the luxurious bathroom. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of local and international selections, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The service staff were attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were top-notch – the swimming pool overlooking the city was a fantastic spot to relax, while the gym was well-maintained and equipped with everything needed for a good workout. What truly made the stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of the entire team. Every interaction – whether at the restaurant, housekeeping, or reception – reflected genuine care for guests’ comfort and satisfaction. In short, DoubleTree Hilton Johor Bahru is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and world-class service. Room aircon not working. Assured change of room next day only but given evening only n Duty Mngr Ivan was extremely cold. We were given complimentary 2 days breakfast which was not satisfactory. Coffee machine was giving out Americano rather watery n we informed the staff tat n they didn’t take any action. We also realised this hotel automatically controls de aircon to higher temperature after 7pm each night leaving our room warm. Both nights were a disaster. Aircon vent is dusty as it aggravated my asthma. They charged us to upgrade to Kings room as only a king room and a double room can have interconnected rooms. This could be detailed in 永安 we would have not booked this hotel. Feel ripped off after not getting a proper test nor sleep. If nothing is done to compensate my stay, I will put this up in social media.

The staff were all polite and they even have a WhatsApp care line which was very responsive and I was impressed. Got 2 rooms for a family of 4. The rooms could have been better because one sink was stuck, the other room’s ventilation wasn’t great. Quality of amenities were basic and expected. It would have been better if

Check in process was smooth and we were very happy with the hospitality. Every staff has a big smile on their faces. We were then greeted with complimentary fresh and warm signature cookies upon arrival which really brightens our day! The room was overall clean although the hotel itself is a bit dated, the windows and wallpaper were old and worn off. Well maintained I would say. Hope they could do a bit of refurbishment or upgrading works to give it a new face lift! Shower pressure was also great needless to say. We would stay again in the future!

This was my second stay at the hotel, and it was just as good as the first time—consistent service and a comfortable experience all around. This time, I checked out the gym and was pleasantly surprised! It’s well-equipped with free weights, a cable machine, treadmill, and more—great for anyone looking to squeeze in a workout during their stay. Will definitely come back again.

Good service from the staff. Front desk Nozlin is especially helpful and knowledgeable and will share all you need to know about your hotel stay while guiding a new colleague. The executive lounge provides predinnner and cocktail in the evening for 2 hours, refreshment for the whole day and westernised simple breakfast. Will be worth it to upgrade if you would like to chill in the hotel for your stay. Good spread of food for buffet breakfast, which consists of cuisine from Malay, Indian and some western food.
