新山成功濱水酒店 (Berjaya Waterfront Hotel)

性價比高，服務態度很好，餐廳設備也全，餐食也比較豐富，設施比較完善。儘管酒店裝修老了，還是給好評五分！

在新山中央車站周邊尋找合適的住宿酒店實在不容易！ 要不是高檔高價格的星級酒店，要不就是條件相當一般的旅館，是價格&設備條件選擇的兩難！ 無意之間發現這家號稱四星的老牌酒店，仔細查看旅客的評論，完全是兩極化的差異...。帶著些許冒險的精神探究原因入住，結果發現確實空間寬敞、設備老舊、空間規劃設計也極其特殊，還好特別指定寧靜房間，所以沒有受到附近酒吧噪音影響，但餐廳、房務及大門人員卻非常友善親切，令人欣賞！ ps.酒店可以直接看到河景&海景，視野遼闊舒適是一大特色！

Stay with my parent Book for 2 room I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in housekeeping and the quick service whenever I made a request. The location was perfect — close to restaurants. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was delicious every morning. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch service. 停車很遠，電梯很慢，停車場在6樓，前台在1樓，麻煩極了。 前台不會中文，6樓停車場進入酒店走廊有異味，房間異味，床單很臟，枕頭套很舊，睡了整身癢。 都是照騙。。。無語。。。 價格便宜，早餐還行。。。

The building is triangle in shape and all room door facing inwards of tri-angle with balcony able to see all floor all rooms in a glance, no floor privacy. Room design is very classic and basic, no bathrope no hand towels no pen paper. The house sliper is also lousy. Drop by to see the swimming pool but entrance are not easily visible to pool, no guard looking out in case of safety. I will not recommend unless you only need to overnight waiting to board Ferry.

Convenient location near customs and shops. Rooms are spacious Staffs were polite and helpful. Overall, decent for a short stay if you’re not expecting luxury. Breakfast selection is not much and sad that they didn’t provide egg cooking station and teh tarik. We also went to the Go Kart and it is quite a good experience with a 7min ride at RM25.

Price is affordable for what you get. Room is just average, maintenance needed such as lights and bathtub. I prefer the floor carpeted than just laminated. Breakfast is again average, for common asians it would be ok. But for me with international palette, i was quite bored. Parking is free upon validation at concierge. View is nice, facing the straits and the polo turf. The clubs are annoying for me but if youre a party animal, then this is your perfect lair. Overall, my rating is 7 out of 10.

I stayed at Berjaya Waterfront JB (Room 1532) from 6–10 September 2025 and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Room Assignment & View: - Upon check-in, I was assigned a connecting room, even though my booking was for a SEA view. I was later moved to a different room as no SEA view room was available, without any apology or compensation. Cleanliness & Hygiene: - Bedsheets were torn, and one even had a bloodstain after being replaced by housekeeping. - Towels were stained, old, and greyish. - Dust under the bed, stained mirrors, and water marks on the ceiling were evident. - Kettle had leftover water on check-in. - While rubbish on the table was removed, a large number of ants remained and no action was taken to address them. Maintenance Defects: - Faulty electrical sockets. - Bathtub was dirty, slippery, and lacked an anti-slip mat. - Toilet bowl cover was loose and unstable. - Wardrobe ceiling panel left open and toilet ceiling stained with water marks. Pest & Health Concerns: - Flying insects and termites appeared, especially after rain. - I developed rashes and bites on my legs, arms, and back during the stay. Service Shortcomings & Management Response: - Housekeeping removed my 1 time shaver but did not replace it. - Requests regarding cleanliness and maintenance were handled without courtesy or urgency. - Management could not explain how such issues occurred and said they could not do much since I did not report them during my stay. I repeatedly asked what actions would have been taken if I had raised the concerns, but they ignored my messages and never provided a proper response. Overall Impression: From all that I experienced, it is clear that the Berjaya Waterfront team lacks basic customer service, initiative, and proactive care. The reactive approach to guest complaints—expecting guests to identify issues rather than ensuring rooms are properly inspected and maintained—is unacceptable. In short, very disappointed from check in to check out, and even more so with how feedback and complaints were handled after my stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel 👍🏼 The location gave a perfect view of the waterfront, and the rooms were generally clean and well equipped. The staff were also quite friendly, and greeted us in the morning when we passed by the reception, which was surprising to me. The food options for breakfast was great, and the atmosphere of the place was quite cosy and relaxing. Would recommend for those who want to stay around in JB or even a staycation.

This hotel location is not so congested compared to ksl side where you got clusters of hotels and lots of traffic .is only about 5mins from CIQ .and price is reasonable compared to hotels nearby .also there is a ferry terminal to batam right in front .you can have a short transit or day 永安 to batam if you want to .overall is satisfactory .
