Absolutely stunning, giant compound with an extensive history! They even offer a history walking tour but unfortunately there weren’t enough people signed up to make the tour happen. If you’re looking for a “colonial” stay, this is a great place. I recommend just walking around to see it for yourself. It’s also right on Kandy Lake, so it’s a nice walk (and not too far from the Kandyan Culture Center and the Sacred Tooth Temple Meals were good, but service sometimes is a little messy. Buffet was missing things like tongs or a cloth over the tray handles (which were hot to touch), but there’s a lot of servers walking around so I’m sure they’ll be able to do double-checks on this

Management was very poor. Had to wait for over an hour to check in. Also the room service and hotel maintenance was very poor. However the location of the hotel is good.

Hotel Suisse carries a colonial charm that takes you back in time. The food is good, offering a fair range of choices. However, the dining experience was slightly marred by some worn napkins. The air conditioning in our room was a bit loud, but it didn't keep us from having a comfortable stay. I might look into other hotels in the area next time to experience something different.

房間很大，設施舊一點，但是很寬綽，電梯估計酒店自己按的，看不出品牌，佛牙寺在kandy湖對面，步行15-20分鐘可到，永安評分3.5有點低，大體還是不錯的，歐洲人多，餐飲歐系/印度咖喱系

可能是尋找訂單時間過長，給了我們一個套房，大卧室+衞生間+客廳。400來塊含雙人早餐+晚餐，child free 實在是太友好了。 衹能説酒店年頭很久遠，的確設施有點跟不上，但整體來説性價比很不錯。

Even though the property is an old building it has been well maintained and preserved. The location is optimal if you want to go to the mall or the tooth relic temple or walk around the lake. Definitely worth the cost.

This was the fourth time I stayed at Hotel Suisse. Great place. Good hospitality. It was a pleasant stay. The two you receptionist need to get more experience. They did not find any records of my 永安 booking. I had to find my records and provide those to them.
