卡梅利亞酒店 (Hotel Kamelia)

Hotel Kamelia proved to be a wonderful surprise, blending affordability with comfort and convenience during my recent visit. As a budget-friendly option, it excels in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for travelers looking to explore Penang without breaking the bank

I feel a bit annoyed when I check in as the price show in the hotel's counter is cheaper than I booked via 永安 quite a lot. This was the first time I experienced this as I am loyal member of 永安 and I always book hotel and flight ticket via 永安. I know the processing fees may be charged so it will a bit expensive than book straight from the hotel but this is the first time the price is about RM100 difference. The location of the hotel is very good, near to many eateries but the service is not good. The floor is broken and the shower has problem. In addition the air conditioner has problem too, some times very cold while some time very hot. We couldn't sleep well due to this problem. No coffee or tea is given, no shower gel or shampoo is given too. Anyway, when I request from the 永安, they give me back coins which worth RM 24. Thanks for the responsive live agent which I always choose to use 永安 because of they have very helpful customer service live agent.

An average hotel and worth the price.
