納皮爾遺產酒店 (Napier Heritage by Velvet Hotels)

The room was presentable enough but the breakfast was not nice at alll. Very little options and did not meet our expectations in terms of taste. 2nd day, it was raining heavily but we still decided to go out for breakfast as we could not eat the food at the hotel. It was not because we are not used to Indian food but this one here, the taste was just not nice at all

1. Property in itself is pathetic, from the outside it gives a heritage vibe, but once you step inside all that remains from the heritage are the damp walls, soggy bedding, absolutely dirty linens and washrooms. 2. Service is terrible is an understatement, there is no service at all. One *** show, only the hotel Manager is around sometimes. Basics were not even in place. For example there was no handwash, or shampoo or body wash in washroom. No room service or cleaning. One of our rooms had terrible damp walls, AC was also not working in another of our rooms and to add on wifi was also not working. When we raised these concerns the common answer we got was they are working on fixing it. The premier & dutch rooms are also very small and claustrophobic. Not maintained or cleaned. Overall absolute waste of money, at such a heavy price the experience was terrible.

We had a great time here as a family of four. Most of Fort Kochi's attractions are within walking distance, and finding transportation is very easy. The service was excellent, and the rooms were very good. Money worth 👍

It's pleasant staying here enjoyed superb and enjoyed the stay also break fast is delicious the staff

The property is located in the heart of Fort Kochi and almost everything is accessible mostly on foot. However, the service is extremely disappointing. Even though they have a functional restaurant, it is hardly ever serviceable. One time they agreed to accept the food order, it was terrible in taste and took eternity to serve. The premier rooms are small at this price point with hardly any space to move. For basic comfort, Club should only be opted if available. Staff is courteous but not efficient atall.

no intercom in the room. In bathroom no point to hange towel and cloths. In the evening they brought meno to decide food and when I went for dinner I was told today kitchen is closed. After long fight shef made pulao and soup. TV in the room was on the side and not in front and it has Malayalam channels and second grade hindi news channel. As I had night flight they don't have close waiting room. I had to sit in veranda. room did not had any details of what service hotel had. How can you live in room where there is no intercom

Location is premium, room were poor with ordinary service and full of mosquitoes. Do carry a mosquito bat

The hotel staff were not at all friendly especially the reception people general upkeep of the property is bad and worst part is food

the base rooms in the old section of the building were very small, and there was no ventilation. thess rooms were just under their restaurant and was separate from the building that was shown in the pictures. since we were two females travelling the hotel "upgraded" me to an "executive" room which was in the new section of the hotel. that room was even smaller with one 5×4 bed and just enough space to pass through. the only advantage was it was in the new section and didn't look secluded. breakfast options were very limited. the best thing about the hotel was it's location. situated in the heart of fort kochi, it is very close to the fort kochi beach and other attractions.

The dutch rooms aren’t ventilated at all, please don’t take them. We booked those rooms and regretted it. We were provided an upgrade on the last day of a three day stay and hence the rating is average. Otherwise it would have been poor. Food was decent, location is good and the pool is a plus.
