City Central Hostel (City Central Hostel)

This was not my first stay at this hostel. Have stayed several times before. And am sad to see a gradual degradation in bathroom maintainance and lack of decency & discipline by the young guests from Tier3/4 towns of neighbouring states/districts, its hosting these days. Else the owner is very progessive minded and open to suggestions on improvements. All staff members are cordial and friendly. Location is prime with great connectivity with metro (MG Rd stn) & main railway hub (Sealdah) within walkable distance. Famous academic institutions, eateries, lagacy restaurants all around. Rooms are clean. ACs work perfectly. Bathroom cleanliness cud ne better. Breakfast cud be made optional at extra cost and taken on to the terrace as Terrace Cafe. Cooking foods by the guests shud be stopped completely. Guests entering other rooms freely at their will, shud be stopped. ALCHOHOL & SMOKING WEEDS MUST BE STOPPED (not by signing an undertakung from guests but by supervising strictly, specially at night). ELSE YOU WUD LOOSE DISCERNING FOREIGN SOLO TRAVELLERS PLUS A POLICE RAID WUD DAMAGE YOUR REPUTATION. A curtain around the beds cud be an added privacy feature.

We had booked 6 bedroom Dorm Room.. AC was really good.. No powercut.. Breakfast simple available - Bread Jam Peanut butter, Banana, Tea, Coffee.. Cameras everywhere so safe.. Everyday room cleaning and mopping.. Also bathroom cleaning.. Very good service.. Accessible by bus cab.. Hair dryer service in common area

One of the hostels in Kolkata. Well maintained. All amenities from kitchen utensils and services are useful for travellers and people in the reception are really helpful.

The staff are helping nature, the place is good, and the nearest metro station is 900m away overall very good experience

Rooms are clean, well maintained property near metro stations, staff behavior is very nice, all the facilities are present here which is required washing machine, fridge,oven,toaster,iron etc

I was very surprised to see such good property at this price and honestly I didn’t have high expectations before reaching to the hostel but to my surprise it is an excellent property to stay. Clean rooms and washrooms, friendly staff, breakfast included, lockers, cctv, WiFi washing facilities, kitchen, what else you need

Very great experience, attends all sort of customer issues on request without forcing the customer to do regular follow up. Location couldn't be any better

It is very nice place, definitely beyond my expectations. Facilities are great, cleanliness is also above average

Baht hi badiya dormitory hostel hai aur location bhi aacha hai. Mai toh dowara aana chahata hu.
