It was my first time in Kuantan, and I chose this boutique hotel to stay with my family. It’s actually located in a residential area, where they’ve renovated and converted a double-storey house into hotel rooms. I booked the Loft Suite, which comes with two queen-sized beds and can accommodate up to four adults. Since we’re a family of five, I requested an extra bed with an additional charge of RM80. Overall, the stay was okay. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis inside the gate. However, there’s still space to park outside by the roadside. There’s no guard, but there are CCTVs. Overall experience: 6.9/10.

Unfortunately, my stay here wasn’t up to expectations. The room was much smaller than anticipated, especially considering the price — my friend’s room just RM20-30 more per night was significantly more spacious. Lighting was also an issue; even with all the lights on, the room was very dim, and one of the bedside lamps was blinking. Cleanliness was below standard, with noticeable dust and dirt on the bedsheet. Also, the placement of the bathroom mirror was oddly inconvenient — it was only visible from a very specific angle, which didn’t make much sense. Overall, I think there’s a lot of room for improvement. - Room 103
