Traveller Ark酒店及宿舍 (Traveller Ark Hotel & Bunks)

Good place, stayed in the bunk, was renovated recently. Looks nice and tidy. Hospitality was good.

Pros - situated right on the doorstep of Petaling Street and many other attractions - situated in the middle of Pasar Seni MRT & LRT interchange, bus interchange, Plaza Rakyat LRT, Kuala Lumpur KTMB ETS & kommuter station, Merdeka MRT station & Pudu Sentral - nearby to late night eateries @ Jalan Sultan - brand new establishment (less than 3 months old) - many common areas for guests to hang around at the hotel's reception lobby/the balcony/the rooftop - 24/7 aircon in the bunk bed room set at 20 degrees Celsius with an ON/OFF swith - provided bath towel & non-lockable locker to keep your non valuables - key card access only security with 24/7 CCTV - elevator on every floors except to the roof - superb rooftop view - BYOB friendly - basic small pantry with hot/ cold water dispenser, microwave & cutleries Cons - no 24/7 frontdesk (need to coordinate with the hostel if you want to checkout/checkin in between 11pm & 9am next day) - anyone taller than 166cm will have a hard time stretching their legs fully to sleep on the bunkbed - no HVAC system for shared rooms (a hotbed for spreading airborne sicknesses) - weak shower water pressure - ongoing construction works on Petaling Street (as of now) - only 1 hot & cold water purifier dispenser @ lvl 1 Verdict I am very particular about no air circulation in the shared rooms. There's no window for natural air circulation or HVAC systems. It will be a hotbed for spreading airborne illnesses and anyone should limit their exposure to just sleeping and not hang around in there longer than necessary. I'm still sold location-wise. A very convenient place to explore, travel & eat.

I stayed here recently and had a really great experience! The hostel is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Chinatown, close to public transport, food, and shops. The facilities are also very good. The shower rooms are clean and comfortable, and the common areas feel cozy and relaxing. Everything looks new and tidy. I stayed in a lower single bunk, and everything was great except there was a little bit of dust between the bed and the wall — but it was a very minor issue. Overall, everything else was excellent! It’s a clean, convenient, and comfortable place to stay with great value for money. I would definitely come back again! 🌟

This place bring you to the heart of Chinatown. A very good location if you love the chaotic mess of Chinatown. Definitely worth the booking :)

這是一家剛翻新的酒店，整體感覺很好，員工也很友善。 這間酒店的位置非常好，就在市中心茨廠街（Jalan Petaling China Town）的核心位置，走出酒店就是最熱鬧的步行街。 交通也很便利，地鐵或公共交通都在咫尺之內。 我尤其喜歡他們的lobby，設計很舒服，lobby外還有一個陽台，可以觀看茨廠街的人頭湧動。
