Tigers Roare' 酒店 (Hotel Tigers Roare')

The hotel is at an excellent location, a stone's throw away, from the Periyar National Park. Conveniently located from the Rangers check post for treks. The staff was extremely helpful, and they didn't hesitate in providing us early check-in. A slight issue with hot/cold water in shower dampened the experience a bit, but nothing the staff wasn't ready to solve.

Tiger roar resort is neat and tidy, located near to tiger reserve forest, receptionist and manager haroon sir is really great, if you’re opting for jungle view room, then you’ll have to climb one stairs above as there is no lift until the fifth floor. You will have to carry your own toilet utilities. Also, you have to carry your own blanket towel and water bottles. Please don’t expect brand-new items like cutlery or furniture. Here it’s more than a decade old building water facility is good and at times there is a power shut down the room. Service is not that great, and there is a covered car parking. Also, a swimming pool on the top floor. Otherwise, the morning food is okay, good for couple of days stay.

Stay was great and nice ambience. Rooms and washrooms were clean. Food was also good(had only breakfast. Hospitality was great.

This place is neat and tidy, we booked the jungle view suit and the room is big and spacious, morning breakfast is average with normal South Indian dishes with bread and butter. All cutleries and arrangements are fine. Average place to stay. Car parking is available. Swimming pool is available too and is good. Near to tiger reserve, bus station, Katak, kalari and elephant park. If you plan to book please ensure going there with proper towel, tissues, mineral water, tooth paste & brush. Also if you book Jungle view room, elders wanted to be cautious as you will have to climb one more floor on stairs as the lift facility is until 4th floor. This is more than a decade old building and equipment’s here are neat but not brand new. I experienced power cut in room but that’s manageable

Good stay. Good service. Food also. Close to the city centre of kumily. Rooms not sufficiently spacious.
