We had a wonderful stay at Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora. The property is full of charm, history, and character, and the setting right on the lake makes it feel truly special. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and it was easy to appreciate the timeless appeal of this historic inn. The staff was welcoming, the grounds were beautiful, and the overall experience felt both comfortable and memorable. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy Mount Dora, and take in the unique personality of the property. If you appreciate historic hotels with charm and a scenic setting, Lakeside Inn is a fantastic choice. We would gladly return.

Beautiful grounds. Lovely historic hotel. Needs an update inside. Carpets and furniture are in really bad shape. Great view and location for a visit to the lovely town of Mt. Dora.

We were visiting friends in the Mt Dora area and they told us to try this historic beauty. The building was lovely. Staff was welcoming and efficient. The room was fine for an old structure with beautiful decor. Unfortunately, the floor in our room along with the bed and even the sink faucets were squeaky which got annoying. I guess old allows squeaky but it got annoying. We did not try the restaurant because we were visiting our friends but it looked lovely and you could dine indoors or on their front porch with a view of Lake Dora. We would stay here again on a future visit. Only reason for my 4 rating was the squeaks but probably no way around that on a wood structure this old,

Beautiful, old hotel right on the lake in Mount Dora. She was showing her age but her charm made up for it. I was looking forward to the pool, unfortunately the water was the same temp at the air. Hot. 🥵 not refreshing at all. It looks like they have started a pier renovation/ improvement, but they seemed to have stopped mid way through, such a shame as it looks like it will be lovely when/if finished. It's within walking distance to everything in town so that is also nice. Despite the bathroom door not having any hardware, the water barely trickled out of the sink and the creaky bed, I would still stay here again
