探索公園營地 - 新南威爾士休姆湖 (Discovery Parks - Lake Hume, New South Wales)

Very nice enjoyed our stay

Beautiful location, very family friendly. Accommodation was impeccably clean and well presented. The wifi was not great, but this was a small price to pay for such a great stay.

Arrived around 7 PM , got confused with the lake hume resort unaware the discovery holiday park was close by Perhaps a prominent large sign is needed as you approach Lake Hume .. Lighting around Reception & boom gates at night could be vastly improved as well as in the discovery park itself otherwise it would have been hard to find our intended Cabin (11) Cabin sliding door at cabin 11 was really hard to unlock & close ( esp when arriving at night ) accomodation itself was very good , clean & comfortable , heating was very good metal dining tables were hard & cold to sit on Lovely lake & hilly mountain views are a attraction & good appeal to the discovery park

Upon arrival at around 7PM I was confused with the lake hume holiday park mainly because it was so dark & signage of the discovery park was very limited on approach When i realized from a phone call to Hume Holiday Park that there was no booking & the owner suggested I try Discovery holiday park which I did but again upon arrival it was quite dark but was able to speak to someone around 7.30PM regarding envelop & keys retrieval but it was still very dark to drive to the Boom gates & & drive through luckily the owner gave me directions to find Cabin 11 , parking in the dark was a bit difficult as there was no appropriate concrete slab to park the vehicle on This meant lose & damp wet grass carried into the cabin as we off loaded our bags & gear Accomodation is good but found unlocking the sliding door to get in was really hard & tricky , even closing it was just as bad Metal chairs were hard & cold to sit on ..I ended up putting a towel on the metal chair to improve seating comfort Everything else was very good , bed was comfortable , facilities good , didnt know I could have got 1/2 price when opted to stay another night but I pre booked the additional night on line which disappointed me The Discovery Park itself is very nice with it's views of the hilly mountains & lake Hume .. Signage to the park on approach could be better improved esp arriving in the dark at 7PM plus
