I recently stayed at Lagoon Residents. The place is quiet and away from the main beach, which makes it calm and peaceful. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and service quality. The property needs better maintenance, and the staff didn’t seem polite or attentive, possibly due to being short-staffed. Overall, it has potential because of its serene location, but improvement in cleanliness and hospitality is much needed.

The hotel was old if the the bed was broken and in the middle of night we was so scared and it was easier to fix but one of the shoulder sleep in the sofa.

Hotel ma potencjał ale wszystko jest bardzo zapuszczone, brudne i się rozpada. Zdjęcia wprowadzają w błąd sugerując że są to domki na wodzie tymczasem są to małe zapuszczone pokoje w budynku położonym pomiędzy dwoma meczetami. Obsługa zajmuje się wyłącznie siedzeniem w telefonach. Nie ma service room a śniadanie to jakiś żart. Lepiej by było jakby go wcale nie oferowali. Za tę cenę na wyspie można znaleźć naprawdę świetny nocleg w innym miejscu. Najgorzej wydane pieniądze w Malezji. Jedyny plus to basen który ładnie wychodzi na zdjęciach. W okolicy nie ma sklepów i restauracji.

Place was nice and I enjoyed my stay but the exterior pictures are a bit misleading. I thought all rooms at this hotel were the villas over the water but they’re not. Look at the room type you want before booking. I ended up staying at a hotel when I thought I would be staying in one of these villas

We really didn’t expect what we faced there. Our check in time was at 3pm but when we reached there at 6pm they tried to hand us a different room which we didn’t even book. Later when we realised entering the room we asked for an explanation. The receptionist realised that she got caught and tried to explain that our room wasn’t free that’s why they gave us separate room. However they made us wait again and shifted to a new room. But that room was also no way a premium sea view chalet that I paid for. The Day was already over and ruined. We didn’t want to argue anymore as it wouldn’t work and we had plans to go out. So disappointing and untrustworthy.

We were stunned by the cleanliness of our given room. The room has old furniture. Luckily we were given a change of room after the complaints.

Hotel was very near to airport. Hotel is quite rundown, not well maintained. Hardly see any guests in the hotel. Room is not of hotel standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Balcony is dirty and have rust. Sofa looks dirty, dare not sit on it. Cups were dirty and sticky. Toilet door was faulty too. Water heater has hot water sometimes. Staff was friendly though and helpful too.

We have been given a terrible room with all the old furniture. Toilet stained badly with balcony filled with cigarette butt's and leaves. I can't imagine having this kind of cleanliness. Having said that, Miss Hartini helped us change to a better clean room. We appreciate it very much. It is such the opposite, but housekeeping services really need improvement, glasses not cleaned, and amenities were not replenished. It is really unbelievable.
