維爾迪旅館 (Verdi Lodge)

Renovations were still underway, food was just basic

I arrived and was received with a warm smile. The workers were very friendly. However grass outside was uncut and there is construction taking place on the premises.  Check-in was smooth with no hassles.  My room looked clean at first glance but had dirt on the floor.  My room had coackroaches and I had to kill a few besides the mosquitoes.  The Aircon wasn’t working but was later turned on and it worked very well.  My room was next to reception so noise was loud into the night with people coming in and out. From door has a glass so I had light entering my room the whole night and I can’t sleep with a light on.  So basically I couldn’t sleep. I wanted to book 2 nights but ended up settling for 1 night and at a different hotel right now.  My shower had no hot water in the morning so I had to bath in another room.  Breakfast was Ok. Basic toast, fried egg and a sausage with a cup of coffee.  As a compliment, the staff were very nice.

Хороший отель, все вопросы решают оперативно. Иногда не бывает горячей воды. Добрый хозяин.

Great location and excellent breakfast outside. as a negative point doors were broken but they fixed it relatively soon.

Customer service is very poor and disgusting. All they want is money from customers and not to offer professional services. They don’t want to hear the customers side when an inconvenience happens. Plus breakfast is served whenever they want. If you have a meeting early in the morning like 08:00,just know you’ll go with an empty stomach.

Hotel location is good and quiet , located near shopping malls around. Rooms look exactly like the pictures on the website and are clean. The offer free breakfast in the morning also.

Самое лучшее в этой гостинице - расположение. Буквально за забором парламента. Что означает относительное спокойствие, ночную тишину и круглосуточную безопасность. Просторная зелёная территория с бассейном - романтичное место для завтраков, работы или просто ничегонеделания. Гостевые номера не самые выдающиеся, но с набором всего необходимого в наше время, правда, без туалетных принадлежностей. Два рулона бумаги - максимальное украшение ванной комнаты. Зато есть холодильник, телевизор, шкаф, стол, тумбочка. Живи и наслаждайся, если тебя не пугают периодические отключения света, воды, интернета (непродолжительные, как правило). Но на то она и Африка.
