巖石谷酒店 (The Valley of Rocks Hotel)

I stayed for one night in a single room. I was pleased with my accommodation considering the relatively low price paid. I was walking the coastal path and didn’t want to pay lots for hotel accommodation as that was not the purpose of my travel. The location was excellent: good for accessing the coastal path and for finding somewhere to eat. I even went to the Lynton cinema which was a small quaint building a few mins walk away b The room was clean and comfortable. I had somewhere comfortable to stay on a wet day and make hot tea. The building is very large and old Victorian and it is nice to see people wanting to keep such a building going. . It is clear that money and care has been put into the main communal areas. The decor in some other areas is a little shabby but I don’t care when it is clean. It would cost a huge amount of money to fully refurbish a building of that size and would take time.

A truly exceptional location and recently refurbished, this hotel is excellent.  The staff were amazing, the lady on the front desk gave us a free up graded room and corrected the dates of our stay , thank you very much …!!! 👏👍😀

Was rather late when we arrived staff was friendly and helpful. Had 3 rooms booked for family. No qualms at all.
