Lovely hotel with fabulous swimming pool close to the shore temple - sit outs on balcony are out of the sun facing lush gardens at the back, on upper floors, ground floor rooms have little sunny sit outs at the front facing the pool. Lovely vegetarian breakfast (no eggs) Lovely helpful staff Only negatives - lack of pool towels Just a 10 min stroll or short auto ride back into main town Food at Madras Chronicle was lovely in evening although ordered to room and took a while and wasn’t hot. Rooms have good a/c and fridges Super comfy bed and pillows

well maintained and cleanliness to the core, rooms and common areas are Good and neat. check out time is bit early, checkin is at 2 pm and the check out is at 11 itself, only vegetarian food is available that too very costly and the restaurant is outside the premises, around 8 mins walk hot beverages are very highly priced..

Property was good with the pool view on one end and garden view on the other end. Complimentary breakfast was too good with south indian dishes like idli, vada, pongal and poori and dosa as the live counters with two juice choice and tea and coffee. Also continental bread, butter and jam. Also hot and cold milk available. Also we had ordered lunch from the Madras chronicle restaurant which was too good. We also enjoyed the pool services and the park and the beach. The only concern was that we didn't get the Spa service and the space is getting renovated. Overall too good experience.

Food availability was only veg and horrible. Breakfast was below average. Over pricing stay and not worth it. Power cuts were regular and backup power is very slow. Swimming pool is good. Receptionist Devi was very rude. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

The place is five minutes walking to everything and it is nice and clean. There was a noise problem and they changed me to two different rooms until i was happy. There is a restaurant from them at 10 minutes walking with great food. I traveled on my own and i felt safe here. Breakfast was ok and service was very good
