馬卡蒂大道奧克伍德酒店 (Oakwood Makati Avenue)

I stayed at Oakwood Makati for a week, and it felt like home! The rooms are more like apartments, with all the comforts of home, including a kitchenette, and even a washing machine. The location is ideal, 20-30 minutes to Greenbelt and Glorietta, so I had no trouble finding places to eat and shop. The staff was very accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. There’s even a nice pool and gym on-site. If you want a comfortable stay with a homey feel, Oakwood is the place to be.

+++good location +++new hotel +++onsen spa +++super kind and helpful front desk people - there is a cover in front of kitchen counter and I have no idea why did they such weird things. %100 useless - need to improve breakfast (need more options) - at least for the 1st night there should be bottle water.

Overrated hotel. We entered into I'm Hotel and taken to Oakwood. We were met with rules and regulations and told about the fines. Balcony door didn't seal well and had a bicycle lock on it. Do not stay here if you can not leave your leg high to get into the tub that has a telephone shower. It's definitely not a place I will take my elderly parents. Breakfast is limited and is with the guest from the other hotel. Your juice options are only one. All in all, it's a clean place with ridiculous traffic at entrance. High-end accommodation with a water dispenser in the hallway, so don't expect drinking water in the room. Advice bring a water bottle to collect the water.

This is my 2nd time at Oakwood Makati and definitely going back again. The staffs are very friendly, they will attend to your needs immediately. I love the cleanliness of the room. Although the drain stopper for the bathtub is broken. I used the teaspoon to pop up the stopper. But the overall experience was amazing. Thank you Oakwood Makati! 🫰

The hotel is good. Breakfast is ok. It is easy to take a grab as it is well located. Gym is nice.

This was undoubtedly the best service we’ve experienced from staff in the Philippines during our six years here, and we travel frequently. The reception team was the kindest and most knowledgeable we’ve encountered, and the restaurant staff during breakfast was equally impressive. Kudos to the manager for clearly prioritizing excellent staff training at the hotel! Hotel's amenieties are also exceptional - excellent, spacious rooms (studio type) even with a kitchenette; the swimming pool - really good for swimming, not the typical decorative stuff type; roof top bar with an excellent view; breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. However, we weren’t particularly fond of the surrounding area, which is dominated by pubs, bars, and related establishments. While this is beyond the hotel’s control, it makes the location less suitable for family travelers—a matter that falls under city management’s responsibility. Restaurants in the hotel need to work on the meals choices they offer. That said, the location is quite convenient, being just a 20-25 minute walk from Greenbelt, Manila’s most modern district.

酒店位置非常之熱鬧，並且頗具特色，房間非常大有廚房式公寓及相關用品，還有電梯外有消毒的開水可以隨意飲用。另外酒店早餐也不俗，但略嫌比較簡單了一點未必適閤中國人口味，酒店無邊泳池不俗，很有特意. 但整體上服務不錯，酒店服務員也很殷勤. 入住房間後發了WhatsApp 給我可以隨意吩咐私人管家. 

這間飯店給我房間乾淨整潔，空間寬敞且裝潢時尚，讓人感到非常舒適。服務人員態度親切且熱情，隨時為我們提供協助，讓人賓至如歸。餐廳的早餐選擇豐富，味道也相當不錯，讓人有愉快的用餐體驗。飯店位置方便，周圍交通便捷，適合觀光或商務旅客。整體而言這是一間性價比很高的飯店，值得推薦

I recently celebrated my birthday at Oakwood Makati Avenue and wanted to share my experience. Communication: Before my stay, I found it challenging to get a timely response from the hotel. I had to send several emails before receiving a reply. Check-in: The check-in process was smooth. The receptionist was very helpful and even offered us a tour of a showroom before we chose our suite, which was a nice touch. The Suite: Our suite was spacious and elegant. However, I noticed a few areas for improvement: the handheld shower was difficult to operate, especially for older guests, and the bidet wasn’t functioning properly. Additionally, the TV channels were mostly limited to news and local shows. View: We loved the view from our suite facing Century Mall, where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet had a limited selection. I missed having croissants or danishes. They offered a free slice of cake, but you needed to like their Facebook page and leave a five-star review on Google for that. Spa Experience: The staff at the Onsen Spa were excellent, and I appreciated the free coffee and juice available in the lounge. Gym and Pool: The gym was small and had some older equipment. However, the pool area was fantastic, especially the glass pool. Unfortunately, the bar by the pool lacked a lively atmosphere, with limited music and menu options. It was surprising that they didn’t offer smoothies or refreshing drinks. Facilities: It’s worth noting that Oakwood and I’m Hotel share some facilities, which adds variety to the experience. Overall, I had a lovely birthday stay, and with a few improvements, this hotel could really stand out!

Spa was mediocre. They need to improve on customer experience. Massage room too cold and no way to adjust temperature. No heated bed. Had to ask for more towels to keep me warm. Didn’t smell like a spa. Little musty. Therapist was good though. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious. Complete with kitchen in a 2BR Suite. Bathtub too high for short people and may cause accidents. There’s a washer dryer combo that technically only washed clothes and kept clothes damp. The dryer was not efficient and we checked out with still damp clothes. 3 associates came to the room and tried to solve the problem. Their suggestion was to wash the clothes again so it will trigger the dry cycle. Never worked. Waste of time and energy. Dryer should dry clothes. Period. Breakfast selection was good. Saw a little cockroach walk around the sushi area. 😲 The area can get so much traffic. Kalayaan Ave can get crazy busy. Give enough time and clear directions for your Grab diver if you want to make your appointments on time. OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!
