a&o 曼徹斯特市中心 (a&o Manchester City Centre)

Confusing place that’s not quite ready yet - was originally the Novotel and the Ibis and they’ve sort of merged but still retain their old branding and separate entrances. I arrived to what was signed as their reception but was told I was in the wrong building despite my room being in the building I was originally in. One was the old ibis reception the other the Novotel I am guessing. Huge queue at check in people all over the place the staff member was on her own and trying her best - instructing people to check in via the app with a QR code she clearly needed help from colleagues not her fault. I booked specifically a double room, not a request a double room type and was told they had none available only twins. When I showed her my booking confirmation, and given I paid extra to have a double twin was cheaper she wasn’t happy and told me “well you’ll be in the annex” that meant nothing to me and I genuinely don’t care I just want the bed that I’ve booked - seems to be teething problems perhaps they’ve opened too soon, room itself was spacious. Location is amazing right in the centre on Portland Street inbetween the *** Village and China Town 5 min walk from Manchester Oxford Road Station and 2 mins from St Peter’s Square Metrolink station - right in the heart of the city - excellent value for money and sure the things I have been critical on will get ironed out

Had a scare getting to the hotel (kids on bikes late at night etc) but thats the state of the UK not the hotel… room was quiet and big and clean - cant ask for more. Staff were nice too.

位置在曼徹斯特中國城對面，所以對想吃中餐的朋友比較友好。其它離長途汽車站，主火車站步行大約20分鐘。房間設施齊全，性價比高，值得推薦

The hotel is in a very good area. You can walk to almost all the main attractions, and it’s also close to tram and bus stations. There are plenty of restaurants around. The hotel was good and quiet for the price. It was clean as well. The only thing missing was better ventilation in the room and the bathroom. Overall, I had a pleasant three-night stay.

Overall, the environment was nice and the bathroom was spacious, but the bedding was not very clean.

這家酒店位置很棒，離牛津路站步行幾分鐘，出門對面就是中國城，離市中心曼徹斯特圖書館、市政廳步行三分鐘，離曼徹斯特大學也很近，步行15分鐘，還能看看風景，離約翰萊蘭茲圖書館步行6、7分鐘，離地鐵、商場都很近，房間寬敞，有沙發和茶几，我定的雙床房衞生間廁所和洗浴分開，非常體驗不錯！真的很推薦，關鍵性價比不錯！

地點非常好 非常近China Town 酒店性價比也好 但要注意房間沒有 漱口杯 提供 沒有任何 Kettle 提供 但價格 反映一切 這個價格在市中心 可以算係超值

地理位置優越 員工也非常友善 房間沒有基本設施 而且我房還發現有垃圾 剩下食物還在冰箱內
