天閣酒店 - UST (Skyloft Hotel - UST)

Skyloft is very near to UST and a good spot for business travellers like us. Also, the check in at the 30th floor is very smooth (2mins) and there is an express checkout option at the ground level which saved us time. There are many options for drinks and meals around the area. The staff and guards are all very friendly and accommodating.

The service is good and we enjoyed

The elevator is too slow, I stayed there for 4 nights and my room was never cleaned. Internet is too slow maybe because my room is far from the router. But ultimately the elevator will kill your time

The room was dirty as the sofas had stains, there were small cockroaches, and the room has a bad smell. The rooms were also not sound proofed very well regardless of what floor you’re in (I stayed on the 5th floor but I had friends staying at 32nd floor) as you can still here the noises down the street. The elevators took a long time as well since there were only 2 and the whole building had other businesses and residential units.

This hotel is nice just avoid the rooms located at levels 7 and below and city view because you wont be able to sleep due to the noises of the cars outside especially the ambulance that comes from the hospital located just across this hotel. The front of the hotel is always traffic thus all the cars passing there are either speeding or honking really loudly. We brought earplugs that can cancel up to 33db but it didn't work at all! The noise is still too much.

Convenient location in the University Belt area. Near fast foods and coffee shops. Just had a difficult time in the guest QR code check in as it would hang. Had to call the hotel to manually fill out the form. Hotel WiFi is super slow.

I just want to share, the last time we booked at the Bali Holiday Inn in Indonesia, after we checked out at 12 noon, we left our luggage at the hotel because our flight to Manila was at 2 am in the morning. We asked if there was a place where we could freshen up before our flight, and they offered a large room that wasn't in use and even gave us one towel each. They were so kind. Also, when we checked in at the Novotel Pratunam in Thailand, we had a similar situation where our flight was at 12 am, so we asked if we could use a washroom, and they offered the shower room by their pool area. Isn't that nice of them? Then, when I requested if we could at least change clothes and freshen up at this hotel, they refused until we insisted, so we went to the pool area just to change. The front desk approached me and asked why we were there and who gave us permission since they didn't allow it. For your information, we didn't sleep because your air conditioner wasn't cooling, and we politely requested, yet you still refused. Would it hurt you if we just changed in your public restroom? I don't recommend this hotel; even the elevators are a hassle, with one damaged, and no bath mat. Management, I hope you take notice of this!

The location was great. Right along U belt. View was amazing from the 31st floor. However there’s no onsite parking available for those of you who are driving. Something to note. Other than that the stay was great.
