藏屋敷野之花田 (Kurayashiki)

Pro: The room were so clean and very well maintained, its surely larger than what explained in 永安 16sqm. With indoor balcony, bathroom, toilet; the roomsize should be around 40sqm. The onsen both indoor and outdoor was so good. However, this hotel has very limited service, no check in counter, no reception, no people. First day when we arrived, all the lights in front of hotel was off so we were not sure if this is really hotel. And when we walk inside hotel prepared all documents and keys on the table. Cons; corridor was freezing in winter. There was only heater in the room and specific point at living room. But hotels provided alcohol beverage to warm us up in the living room instead. ^~^

日本の和を感じられるお宿です。 目の前には湖が広がっていて気持ちのいい朝を迎えられます。 朝ごはんも*かけご飯と季節のお野菜をいただきました。

So many little things that make this hotel much better than anything else. The way they show you to your room, the way they put your shoes away and bring them back on your departure date, the way dinner and breakfast is waiting for you at your own private table, the way they let couples share an onsen during quiet hours. My point is - you will feel like a VIP here. The staff and always there, taking care of you in subtle ways, but you never feel watched or intruded on. This kind of invisible service - maybe hard for westerners to understand, but it is excellent. You will feel like you are really being understand and looked after. Highly recommend. Best hotel service I've had in japan in 2 years of living here. Highly recommended.
