I drove over 400 miles on I-81 and was completely exhausted, so I decided to stop near Charlotte. The name of the hotel sounded nice — I thought “Norman Lake” might be a fancy resort. Crossing from Virginia into North Carolina, the drive was beautiful. The road wound through the mountains with lakes popping up here and there — such a big change from the flat East Coast. The hotel itself was just okay. The facilities were average, the AC was pretty noisy, and the mattress was way too soft for me. Breakfast didn’t leave much of an impression, except for the endless coffee. Overall, it was a decent place for a quick stay.

Expired milk we stayed July 15 -16 , the milk Expired on July 16 .. We had 2 extra chocolate milks so when we checked out we took them home with us and on the way home my husband stared getting sick, the chocolate milk that he had drank expired on July 16... But other milk doesn't expired until July 27 Which means there not doing there job and the staff were very rude and we very unwelcomeand so inconsiderate In was unbelievable the staff made me cry she was so rude and didn't want to here anything I said

Excellent check in process. Extremely clean room. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Will stay here every time pass through on our way from Ohio to Florida.
