Hostel Mantra was a fantastic stay! The atmosphere is chill and welcoming—perfect for solo travelers and backpackers. The dorms were clean, the beds comfy, and the staff super helpful with tips on exploring the city. The common areas made it easy to meet people, and the rooftop was a great bonus spot to unwind. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a budget friendly yet quality stay.

disappointing stay – lack of cleanliness and maintenance i recently stayed at hostel mantra in mumbai, and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. the cleanliness standards were shockingly low. the washroom was not properly cleaned, leaving me uncomfortable using the space. to make matters worse, there were cobwebs under the bed and inside the cupboard, which clearly indicated that the room had not been maintained or cleaned properly in a long time. it’s disappointing to see such negligence, especially when cleanliness is a basic expectation. i hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their housekeeping standards to provide a better experience for future guests..

Very chill and cosy place to stay be it solo or with group of friends. Staffs here are also polite and helpful. Surely coming back here the next time i vi-sot mumbai.

I had the worst experience with hostel mantra. I visited many cities and stayed in many hostels or hotels. But never felt this before in any of those stays. Firstly, the staff of mantra thinks that he is the owner of the hostel as he has the very worst and casual attitude. I will never recommend anyone to hostel mantra as per my personal experience. Hygiene parameters are not maintained, bathrooms are not getting cleaned on a daily basis, you will find the hair of humans in bed, also they don't clean the bedsheet or blanket once a guest leaves the hostel. I saw these and i left the hostel immediately and asked them to refund the rest of the booking amount but unfortunately this guy doesn't know how to talk professionally. Last but not the least please if you think these are required in any hostel or hotel then i suggest please don't stay in hostel mantra until and unless they claim that they are going to review these changes. I had the worst experience in hostel mantra. We checked in and then left the hostel within an hour because of our terrible experience. Saw a giant rat passing through the door. The rooms weren’t clean. People were playing music in the dorms. Such unhygienic environment. No cafeteria just an unhygienic open kitchen right outside my room. I had to pay extra to some other hotel and get the hell out of this place because it is a nightmare. Try zostel but do not put your money in this hell hole.

The room was not at all cleaned the floor was drenched in water and the bathroom door was open always with lights flickering crazily. The door was not at all lockable. The beds were not cleaned and the room was hot with no proper ventilation. Felt super weird for a female to be staying alone at such a horrible place hence had to leave 3hrs after checking in inspite of the booking being made for 2nights. It was a waste of my hard earned money. I had mailed the stay officially for my refund yet no response was received from their end. Kindly look into it and provide me a refund.

It’s regarding my stay at hostel mantra, as per my experience hostel property is good and at a good place though staff is totally in cooperative as they keep on telling that they will do the work and help us out while they don’t cater us once
