TOKYO HOTEL (TOKYO HOTEL)

We booked a double room for 2 but at check in we wanted a room with 2 single beds. Most hotels would accommodate our request if the request room type is available. But in this case the receptionist took advantage of the situation and charged us 20% extra for the change. When asked if the hotel is full, we were told that occupancy was only about 20%. It would have cost the hotel nothing in switching room for us. The hotel advertises buffet breakfast but in fact we were allocated only 1 drink and 1 dish for breakfast each person. And the food was quite disappointing. So I conclude that the hotel management needs to learn about customer service and perhaps guests will likely stay a second night.
