格倫科夫宅邸酒店 (The Mansion at Glen Cove)

Room not cleaned, breakfast area had dirty tablecloths from previous evening's wedding reception, pool not open according to timetable, pool towels could not be removed from pool area so guests walking back to rooms in wet swimwear

Not sure if this is a high demand, but the property is beautiful yet the TV doesn’t work. We checked in pretty late so we didn’t want to bother the concierge the next day you requested a separate room because we just didn’t want somebody to come in to fix the TV and the room was super tiny for a king bed Anyway it was accommodated but we were placed in a further room now the property is huge. You have to walk a lot. It’s it’s nice at the same time a tedious task when we got to the other room due to the event and lack of communication from the front desk I was told my car would be towed unless I moved it behind you When I booked The room I was told that parking is free. I was incredibly frustrated, fearful for my property, which is my car being threatened to be towed. I feel that that communication could’ve been better or the bell person could just come and take my keys to move the car, but you just don’t want to experience that level of frustration when you are staying as a guest in a hotel I mean this was a first for me incredibly frustrating and that’s not something that I will be doing by staying here again at all. Lastly, when I checked out, the front desk was not apologetic did not recognize my frustration. There was no level of courteous. They were more focused on their events happening rather than the guests in the hotel so I would not recommend staying at a hotel oh by the way, this was our treat for a our post wedding reception. The staff besides the midnight to late night staff, is utterly incompetent. Also no room service when they have a Resturant on site lol

The room was clean. It was in a wing of the complex that was separate from the main building and we had to cross an outdoor garden to get there. The toilet got clogged and maintenance arrived in 10 minutes to unclog. The Ac/heating unit was loud and kept going on and off all night. The buffet breakfast included was excellent in a lovely spacious dining area.

The location is stunning! The pool is beautiful, but good luck, trying to get into the pool with the hotel running a day camp!!!! No where on the site does it stipulate we would have to share the pool with a day camp. They told us the daycamp is here from 10 to 1 and then we could use the pool afterwards. The food was horrible, the food was horrible, the service was abysmal, and just when we thought we would give them some points on cleanliness, we discovered some toenails on the floor not ours!
