Best I can say is,it is somewhere to lay your head for the night.It is perfect if you or a family member have a flight from Newcastle as long as youre not concerned about cleanliness.the bath and toilet weren't the cleanest with the tile grouting being full of dark spots.The decor is dated in this hotel dark and tired looking really needs a freshen up.Staff look and act like they dont want to be there,not the friendliest hotel staff I've encountered.

While I couldn’t fault the staff and service the hotel is very much in need of updating. Dated and aged floor covering and furniture has the appearance of drab and a bit dingy. However, as far as value for money I couldn’t complain. It was a convenient place to stay. Bedding was clean as were towels. Friendly staff.

The hotel is very dated, and the ground floor smelled moist. We requested to change the room to 1st floor due to the air quality and staff was helpful. Parking is spacious and I was charged £5 for the stay.

I understand that the hotel has been renovated. I just cannot understand why there were so many bad reviews. I found it perfectly nice for an airport hotel especially. The price fluctuated wildly but on the day when I was arriving, the price reached its lowest since I have been monitoring it. By foot it's opposite the terminal and slightly to the right. It only takes 7 minutes and a small sign will appear. It is harder to find than you think, best to ask advice or use an online map. It had everything you expect, courteous staff, kettles and coffee, even a bath! The only think I found slightly sub par was the bed, the mattress seemed to be cheap, slightly uncomfortable it was just what I needed. There was nothing wrong with it whatsoever. 10am checkout is a bit stingy though.

We had a silly o’clock flight from Newcastle so it made perfect sense to stay here. Unbelievably good value, clean and friendly, it will be my go to now for very early flights. Thanks

We just stayed over night before an early flight next morning.Rooms are quite tired could do with a refurb.Food is good and bar has cheap drinks till 7 pm ,unfortunately although the bed was comfy the pillows were like sleeping on a boulder,they had no others to offer us,would still stay for the convenience.

Stayed overnight for an early flight, pretty basic and outdated, but perfect location. A 5 minute walk to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could just do with a face lift

Ideal location for early morning flights however the hotel does give off old people home vibes & smell the room in question was tiny with a single bed tucked next to the radiator I could stand in the room and touch the width of the room
