The Pod is my go to location to stay in NYC. Near the L train so in Manhattan in 5mins and located on Bedford avenue so loads of great local venues!

The place is nice and big with lounge and areas to hang out including the very big roof garden. The room was compact and good. I like the simple layout. But there was an ant problem I found them crawling over the desk table and floor where I put my things and bags. So I cleaned it twice and moved my stuff, but the room doesn’t have much space elsewhere. Unfortunately I suffered from 6 big bites on my back, arms and legs while staying so can’t say it wasn’t bed bugs!

Cheap and cheerful. For what this place lacks in amenities and new fixtures and fittings, it makes up for in location and price. It would return here.

Yes, the pods are small, but they are also modern, functional and well-priced. With the subway a very short walk away, it rarely took more than 20 minutes to get to Midtown Manhattan. Moreover, there were great restaurants and grocery stores just minutes away. This is a great introduction into Brooklyn and a more affordable option to staying in Manhattan.

Great location. It’s minimalist which is fine. Be warned that after you use the shower over the toilet that the next time you flush water is going to come out of that shower head above you. My sheets had tears in them. It is a budget friendly hotel for the location but I would expect sheets not to be torn. Convenience store next door which is great. Whole Foods and tons of places to eat close by. Apreciaré they have a filtered water filling station near the lobby so you can bring your own water bottle and have fresh water without the expense.
