MEANDER Osaka (MEANDER Osaka)

Great location! Right near Dotonbori area with tons of restaurants nearby.

It was our first time choosing Meander as our accommodation in Osaka. We stayed for 7 nights in early September and it did not disappoint. Being in Namba, the location is perfect, walking distance to train station (we can easily access different subway lines), super easy commute to and from Kansai Airport via Nankai Airport Line, we could walk back after late nights which is so convenient (this was important for us) - but above all, still being located in the quiet and peaceful part of Namba. Room was compact but the hotel had everything we needed. The hotel has a communal space at the lobby with tables and chairs where guests can unwind and eat/ drink. This is great because the room itself is small, so being able to utilise this space is great. The hotel also provides complimentary coffees and teas at the communal space, therefore we could enjoy morning coffees here (the nearest convenience store is still more than 5min walk as you need to cross the main road so having access to coffees at the lobby was really helpful). The hotel staffs were really helpful and courteous too. The only drawback was there’s only one elevator (the housekeeping team is using the same elevator), so at certain timing it will take quite sometime for the elevator to arrive at your floor (it didn’t really bother us, as soon as we encountered this on second morning, we planned to get out before or after this peak period). All and all, it was a really nice stay! :)

The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and had a good amount of space for travellers to hang out and drink a complementary coffee. The rooms however were a little dated and the bed wasn’t too comfortable. It’s not bad, but not worth the price for the quality of rooms.

Great hotel for the price and location. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor – we stayed on the 10th floor and it was very comfortable. However, the pillows were quite hard, and the room cooled down too quickly with the air conditioning. If you turn it off, the room becomes stuffy rather fast. On the positive side, there are excellent cafés nearby, perfect for both breakfast and dinner.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and found it to be very pleasant, with exceptional staff. I had some trouble getting to Japan, and the team handled all my unexpected requests with impressive professionalism. As a solo traveler with one large suitcase, the room size was perfectly adequate—I had no issues at all. That said, it might feel a bit tight if you're a large couple or traveling with multiple large bags. The lobby offers complimentary hot drinks and water, including sparkling water, which was a thoughtful touch I really appreciated. The location is also excellent—just a five-minute walk from Namba Station, making it easy to get around.

距離道頓堀大概10分鐘腳程，這次選擇這間酒店因為近JR難波站，酒店upgrade了我們至雙人大床，配套相當好，大堂有個公共空間可以食宵夜，還有免費紅茶提供，如果有JR pass的遊客就最適合！

The locations are excellent—super convenient and close to everything you might need. They provide all the essentials you’d want to borrow, from toiletries to travel gear, which makes packing so much easier. Plus, you can store your luggage for free, which is a huge bonus. Overall, a really great and hassle-free stay!

非常完美的體驗，要特別感謝店員Ryo桑，入住當日拜託他幫我們佈置房間以便慶生，當晚就先給了我們一盤零食並附有一張生日快樂的小卡。隔天晚上回來牆上已經貼滿了”Happy Birthday “的氣球。 房間雖然不大，但距離地下鐵出口只要2分鐘，對客人的服務態度也非常棒，整體來說非常推薦

Номер и правда небольшой, но для нас это не было проблемой, всего два чемодана прекрасно уместились в комнате. Чтобы убрали мусор, достаточно было оставить специальную табличку на двери. Чай, вода и кофе были в свободном доступе на первом этаже. Отдельный плюс — прачечная при отеле. Постирать и высушить вещи — 400 йен. Персонал доброжелательный! Все хорошо говорят на английском. Спасибо!
