The room is small and exquisite, clean and tidy, featuring Nordic design, simple and practical. The lighting in the room is warm and cozy. The hotel is very conveniently located, very close to Oslo Central Station, and nearby attractions and shopping are within walking distance. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices.
The hotel’s location is superb, right by the Oslo S train station and by the main shopping district and main sights.
Hotel itself seems rather old. The bathroom especially felt like something out of the 1980s. It was small and water pressure was weak. Also there was no bath mat provided, nor any tissue paper, and no amenities like toothpaste toothbrush or shower cap.
As we had paid for a larger room, our room was spacious. But it was noisy from people shouting in the street below even at late hours. Also the hotel did not turn on its central heating nor air conditioning. So the room felt stuffy and you would have to open a window.
What saves the hotel is the excellent service. Staff were accommodating on requests we made, including for a takeaway breakfast box on our last day as we were taking an early train.
