Basic amenities to mimic village lifestyle. Quiet place that is near to Mount Merapi. A must stay if you want to experience a village lifestyle such as making your own fire to boil hot water. There are various activities that suits your budget, from trekking to Jeep rides. The sunrise Jeep tour is highly recommended as you get to enjoy Merapi at a quiet pace. (Merapi starts to get crowded from 6am onwards) Climate: Cooling, with around 20 degs at night and early morning. Can be slightly warm in the afternoon but nothing unbearable. Did not encounter mosquito during the visit. Food: 1) Warung Ijo 2 Potrowangsan (Eatery) is available within minutes of walking. 3) breakfast is included, and you get to choose between 2 options. 2) Self help to various organic fruits as long as they are ripe. (Tomatoes, guava, papaya) Note: please bring along a international socket adapter. Overall, A good place to heal your tired soul.
