Very Disappointing Stay: No Hot Water All Weekend I stayed at Hotel de France Invalides in November 2025, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the first night, there was no hot water in the entire hotel. On the morning of November 8, I was told the system would be fixed later that day, but when I returned that evening, I found an official notice posted by the elevator stating that the hot water would be out of service for the entire weekend. This meant that for all three nights of my stay, there was no way to take a proper shower or even wash with warm water — during cold Paris weather (around 8°C). The hotel offered a free breakfast for one morning, but that is not an adequate solution for such a major problem. I had booked this as a three-star hotel through 永安, and I expected at least basic facilities to be available. The lack of communication and the fact that the issue was not fixed during my entire stay made the experience very uncomfortable. I hope the management addresses this issue properly and ensures guests are informed in advance if such essential services are not functioning.

Номер очень маленький, сырой и холодный. Очень узкая душевая кабина, крупный человек в ней просто не поместится. А еще очень маленький лифт! Я боялась в нем ездить и приходилось ходить пешком на 4 этаж.

I have stayed only one night in the hotel I arrived early to the hotel but the staff is very nice and allowed me to settle my luggage in the hotel first such that I don’t need to carry a heavy baggage during my traveling. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just few minutes walk to reach the subway and there is a supermarket nearby. You can even walk to the Eiffel Tower. Staff is very nice, speak fluent English and helpful. I saw couples of review before booking saying the room is very tiny and dirty but I don’t think so, the toilet is clean and there is even a table and chair for a single room. What I think the only tiny part is the lift but you don’t live in a lift right so it doesn’t really matter. If I come to Paris again, I will stay in this hotel again. I am very satisfied with the price and the service, also the safety.

good location friendly staff , high end furniture recommended , and sure will try the best experience one more time

Walking distance to Eiffel Tower

房間雖然不大但是五臟俱全，很温馨的一個小房間，地理位置就在榮軍院附近，走路兩分鐘就能到，並且離埃菲爾鐵塔也不算遠，前台服務態度很好，可以免費寄存行李

Belle expérience dans cet hôtel placé juste derrière les Invalides. Le personnel est jeune, dynamique et serviable. L’hôtel était agréable, la chambre très propre et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner parfait pour une longue journée de visites parisiennes. A recommander. Philippe D. (Dijon)
