Stayed here so many times.. outstanding hotel that made the stay was so satisfying.. good location, friendly staff, but pity that the abandoned mall is just down the lobby, but the room is simply the best!!

Booked my reservation online expecting to get the room I selected. However, upon arrival, I was told that the room was unavailable and that all bookings were “subject to availability” – which defeats the purpose of booking in advance. After some back and forth, a staff member offered us a 2-bedroom apartment instead. Unfortunately, the replacement room was unacceptable. One of the beds had bed bugs and there were strands of hair on the sheets on the other beds– extremely unhygienic and disappointing. For the price paid, the lack of cleanliness and professionalism was shocking. This experience left a very bad impression. I expected at least basic cleanliness and respect for confirmed bookings.

Cleanliness of room needs improvement. Stain found on both glasses inside the room. However, staff changed immediately after reported. Cockroaches found inside room. Room hygiene is questionable.

1. Welcome drink yang disediakan pihak hotel unik dan menarik. Air bunga Telang, air bunga raya. Saya teruja!2. Hotel ni sebelah mall dan ada pintu yang terus ke mall. Tapi sayangnya banyak kedai di mall yang dah tak beroperasi. 3. Sarapan biasa-biasa je. 4 Bilik agak berbau. Harap dapat buat penyucian karpet di bilik. 5. Tilam katil king agak keras. Tapi, bantalnya empuk. 6. Parkir di hotel percuma asalkan perlu validate tiket. Sekian ulasan jujur saya. Maaf jika berkecil hati. Harap dapat buat penambahbaikan.

Had a wonderful stay at Ixora Hotel Penang with 6 friends! We booked the 4-bedroom suite and it was perfect for our group. The best part, each room came with its own private bathroom, so no need to wait or rush in the morning. That was a real plus for us! The welcome at the reception was friendly, and the hotel room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the hotel buffet good variety and delicious food. The only slight downside is that the megamall next door is nearly closed down, not much to explore there. Luckily, there’s still a Watsons and a small minimart for any essentials. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again for our next 永安!

We recently stayed at Ixora Hotel Penang and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was top-notch, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. We stayed in the King’s Room, which was ideal for us. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the modern amenities made our stay feel luxurious. It was the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The variety was amazing—there were so many delicious options to choose from! Whether we were in the mood for local dishes or classic Western breakfast items, everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. It was a treat to start our mornings with such a delightful spread. The hotel’s amenities also added to our experience. From the well-maintained facilities to the inviting atmosphere, everything was thoughtfully curated. The location of the hotel is super convenient too, making it easy for us to explore nearby attractions and enjoy Penang’s vibrant culture. Overall, our stay at Ixora Hotel Penang was unforgettable. The combination of excellent service, a cozy and romantic room, delicious food, and great amenities made it a perfect getaway for us. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Penang and can’t wait to return!
