阿南德樂酒店 (Hotel Anand LOK)

The location of the hotel is unique. It's beside of Rajgir bus stand and on main crossroads of Rajgir where you can find all private rental car, battery rikshaw, tamtam (horse carriage), buses for your 永安 also every food corner, although they have resturant with good quality food and room service. The restaurant ambiance and decoration is world class. The delux room is well maintained and clean. They provide clean towels, a slippers for bathroom and mosquito repellent liquid, which is insignificant but very important. We're very pleased with this hotel.

It was very nice stay and service was excellent. The location of hotel is very convenient. Food was also hygienic and good.

My stay at the hotel was average. The bed was shaky and made noise, which was quite annoying. The windows opened directly into the corridor, affecting privacy and ventilation. Overall, it was not the most comfortable experience. No thanks

Hotel is in very good location though its opening is somewhat shabby. Rooms are small without any balcony or window. Toilets are small & having no washbasin. Worth-mentioning is room service & food quality. But very limited break fast options when one opt for paid breakfast when one books breakfast with room. Same is the situation with paid lunch/ dinner when one books with room. In two nights i was served with same items in veg but the condition was not specified when booking is done. I must appreciate behaviour of staff which erased any sort of disappointment.

Pros: Once we checked in and assigned our room- third one we were shown, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was decent and good value. Location was good.  Cons: Mgr at reception  first checked us in and then stated Agoda had no record of us! We had booked with 永安 which he insisted was linked to Agoda. Suggested we cancel the booking and pay him! Eventually after speaking to his supervisor/ Agoda, things were assorted, but no apologies given.  We had booked a large room with city view. The first room we were shown had no outside window. The 2 nd a tiny 2 ft opening high up, small room. Third room better, a bit bigger and more pleasant.  We had to ask for toilet paper and a 2 nd towel. (These were supplied for the 2 nd night and our room cleaned.) No hot water in the morning for shower, two people came to ‚fix‘ and eventually managed to run hot water in the sink , to fill bucket to pour water on ourselves.  The mattress  had no cushioning whatever, and we slept poorly.  Definitely not a 3 star hotel. The outside of the hotel promises more than the inside delivers!

It was an excellent stay and the room was very spacious. Just the way we wanted for three adults was enough. The food was very nice and the staff behavior was very good.

I have booked the hotel. But my experience was very very bad, as the toilet and room was too small. We need to take out the cooler out of the room for space issue. One can't use the toilet properly. Hotel staff did not co-operate hotel manager did not take any initiative the hotel is situated 390 metre away from nalanda university but actual distance is 15 km from the hoteL

1. Behavior of staff was good. 2. No food was available in the guest house. 3. Mosquitos were present 4. No restaurant was available within 1 km. 5. Washroom was not satisfactory. 6. Mahabodhi temple was not within walking distance.

The hotel is located adjacent to rajgir bus stand. Hotel staff are well dressed. I had booked for two deluxe rooms. I was of the impression that hotel is 3star, as is mention the mmt site, however facilities were not upto 3 star ratings, like lack of guyser in the bathroom, lack of tea coffee maker etc. Electric jug was there however tea, coffee sachet etc were not provided despite request. In the evening could not get hot water for bathing. In the morning hot water was made available with centralised gyeser on the roof. Food was delicious.
