Overall, it was an okay experience, but definitely not what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in a very remote, desert area. It feels quite isolated and far from the city. The beach not suitable for swimming The room itself was fine, but the hygiene products were very poor quality and definitely need improvement. These little details matter when you’re staying in a 5-star hotel. The kids club is actually a nice the staff are kind with the children. However, the limited hours (only 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening) are inconvenient for families. Also, there was daily drilling going on very close to our room, which was extremely annoying and disruptive, especially when trying to relax or get some rest.

I stayed at Fanar Hotel in Salalah as a solo traveler and had a great time. The location is beautiful, right by the beach, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay 🤗

Unfortunately a disappointing experience from the very moment we arrived. You get that feeling they are more interested in reminding you of the time you need to leave at 12pm rather than welcoming you as a gust. I had a difficulty walking for a medical reason and despite this and asking during my booking for a 2x beds room to be ready by the time we arrive(3am) and paying for the full previous day,it took us 3 attempt to get a right room in another 10minutws walk building with first attempt the room was jot even cleaned !!!! Definitely its a management issue and lack of proper training and follow up of the raised customer issues specially from a 5xStar resort ! Rather than buried them under the carpet and not even an official apology was provided. Breakfast was of a good variety, finding parking was a headache , the resort is approx one hour drive from the city.
