The Space: Huge rooms with a very open, airy feel. The Location: A+ access. There’s a door behind the bar that leads straight to the Riverwalk, and you can easily walk to The Alamo. Parking: Valet is available, but there are cheaper public lots within a block or two. Food/Drink: No need to wander far for a good meal; the on-site restaurant and bar are great.

The hotel itself is very nice, and the valet and bellhop staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is excellent, right on the Riverwalk, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure; however, if you’re tall, the shower head placement is not ideal—my husband is 5’10” and had to duck to use it. We would consider staying again, but on our last morning the toilet clogged and overflowed onto the floor. This was frustrating, especially since very little toilet paper had been used. Most people would consider a toilet overflow an urgent issue that requires immediate attention. We called for assistance, but no one ever came. It seemed as though staff assumed they could wait since we had a couple of hours before checkout, which was disappointing. As a result, my husband had to go to the ground floor to use the restroom, and we had to navigate around toilet water on the bathroom floor while getting ready.
