It’s an interesting hotel. There is not much choice in Sandakan town, so we ended up staying here by default. It has a lovely pool and a beautiful rainforest outlook. The rooms are generously sized and cleanliness was okay. The breakfast is mixed. The coffee cups were dirty. Some of the items were great, like the omelettes, but the rice was chalky in taste and other items that were meant to be hot were cold. There was always something edible, such as toast, fresh fruit, roti and coffee. Choice was, however, limited. The hotel does feel dated and poorly maintained in places. We asked for a late check out, but were told you had to pay half the room rate for this. Staff were always smiling, but on the front desk they were not helpful or accommodating. I would stay here again, but would seriously consider the jungle lodges near Sepilok instead. Overall it felt like a 3 star hotel, but after reading the reviews before I stayed, I knew what to expect so didn’t have high expectations. We stayed for 2 nights and would not want to stay for longer than that!

裝修風格有點老舊，但是非常安靜，環境不錯，有個帶大滑梯的超大泳池，大人小朋友都喜歡，適合一家人或情侶來度假

房間比較老，二次裝修過，服務還是可以的，像個小小的熱帶花園，中餐很不錯，量很大，價格還便宜，還有廣式點心，酒店西方人佔絕大多數，地理位置也還可以，去海邊打車5飯6馬幣。大馬酒店有個共性，就是要收旅遊税，但是在平台上預訂的一般都有提前付款，所以我們在遇到要求當場現金付款睡時，都會出示自己的訂單複印件或者電子檔，英語要好點不然容易被重複付款，這個平台有責任去提示酒店是否已經在線付款。

房間乾淨，比預想中大，應該是剛裝修過。歐美人士聚集的地方。熱帶雨林，南洋風情，房間數不多，人少，舒服。

泳池太讚了，孩子從天亮玩兒到天黑，意大利麪也不錯，早餐可圈可點。服務有待提高，太軸了，交涉了半天，一直以房間都定出去了（當時永安顯示至少還有四間標間的），表示無法給連通房（來之前也不知道有連通房），一起來的小夥伴兒，如果需要連通房，一定提前與酒店聯繫。

非常好，拉開窗簾就能看到樓下的熱帶景觀。酒店的café也很棒，裏面的咖喱雞很好吃！！沙嗲牛肉也很不錯。作為山打根到婆羅洲雨林的過渡酒店來講，沙巴酒店是很好的選擇！

Amazing hotel in every way. Rooms are superb, food is delicious and the pool area is very clean and tidy. Bed is amazing. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed in in Borneo. Aircon is very good with plenty of power and offers a quiet mode. Bathroom and shower are top of the range. It offered a bath too which was a nice touch. Very good here. No noise disturbances at night. The WiFi is very good too. Amazing service. Probably on the higher end of hotel prices but what you get is extremely worth the extra money. It’s beautiful all over and just walking through the lobby is lovely.

We stayed at Hatten Hotel in Malacca and found it super convenient—right in the middle of everything, from shopping malls to historical spots. Our room was spacious and comfy, with great views over the harbour . The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good, and the rooftop bar was a real highlight—fabulous city views at sunset to end the day and great views at night. We found the staff and service very responsive. Great spot for a short city break and good value for money.
