Great views and comfort, but watch out for extra charges!
I recently stayed at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. While the hotel itself is very nice, I encountered an issue that significantly impacted my experience.
Despite having booked and fully prepaid my stay through 永安, the hotel attempted to charge me an additional $45 per day plus tax for the so-called "Destination Fee" at check-in. After contacting the hotel, they refunded the fee after multiple letters and two weeks.
This seems to reflect a policy of charging the Destination Fee by default, regardless of whether it has already been prepaid through third-party booking platforms. I worry that many guests either don't notice the charge or aren't aware that it may already be included in their booking.
That being said, breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the facilities are generally high-quality. If the billing issue hadn't occurred, my stay would have been much more enjoyable.
Overall, it's a lovely hotel in a great location—but guests should carefully check their bill and be prepared to follow up if something doesn't add up!

Information In-app $35 pay at hotel but I paid actualy $80 at the checked in date, it's amenity automatically fee billed without inform before.
Also I request the slipper but no one get it to me and bathroom essentials, No bottles water in our room.
Great hotel in the heart of the action. Good overall service and enjoyed the amenities that were included!
